Which person on this website has the longest hair here. How many years have they been growing their hair? pics please
I think Absolom has the longest of the regular posters. There are a few others who are at least approaching that length, but post less frequently and/or are not posting pix.
AFAIK, nobody on this board is approaching floor-length, but we know a number outside the board who have floor-length hair. At an average growth rate, a 6 foot tall man would take 12 years to reach the floor.
Hi Tom. Of the men here, that post frequently, I probably have the longest hair. I stopped getting my hair cut in 1992. There are 2 other guys who post infrequently that have hair of similar length. There is one woman with hair longer than mine.
Absalom
Awesome
Absalom you live up to your nic name to HAIRGOD by name HAIRGOD by nature to quite impressive indeed !
Axel
Your hair is awesome! cheers for that Absalom
And your hair has lots of potential, Tom. I see it is currently about mid back length. You should consider growing it to at least waist length or even classic length. Keep growing it for sure. Best wishes.
Absalom
I think your hair has inspired me never to cut my hair again lol.
In the order of my naming the names in the subject headline, that's who I think have the longest hair out of all the "regulars" here. My apologies if I've forgotten someone else I should have listed
There used to be a guy from Oregon named Brian who had even longer hair than Absalom's, I think; but he hasn't posted here in a long time. Victor is the guy that started this site. His hair is a few inches past his belt, as I recall.
Other regular posters here that come close to the "longest long" lengths are: SteveNoVa, Hairball, Electros, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few others. I don't even come close to being in their league, as it's been only very recently that my hair has been able to just barely touch the top of my belt, --- a mere "short-hair" by their standards (lol)!!

I'm flattered to be on your "in the running" list. Brian? Are you sure you don't mean Bruin? He seems to be off the board now. He was memorable for having an avatar pic with just the face and hair trailing down the back so you couldn't see it. Then, there was a pic of him someplace else with the hair down almost to his knees, IIRC. Really straight and full all the way down, too, like he could hit the floor someday if he wanted.
Yes, you are right: his name is Bruin, not Brian, --- and yes,his hair was AMAZING!! I hope he still has it...
And as far as you own hair goes, from what I can tell from your pics, your mane is definitely one of the longest in the group of regular posters here, --- not that we're having a contest or anything (lol).... cuz if there ever was one, I'd want to play the role of being like that tacky Tanya Harding chick (you know, that real nasty competative ice skater that had that other contestant's knees bashed in, just so she could get a better chance at winning the gold medal at the Oympics that winter - lol).... Anyway, I can just imagine me going around to everyone's avatar pics with some sort of on-line scissors, cutting off the length in everyone's pics except mine, --- as if there's any sort of "Grand Prize" for having the longest hair on an internet site (lol)!!
Anyway, all stupid and tacky jokes aside, I want to add my voice to the Bay Area's "welcoming committee", with a very sincere & heart-felt, WELCOME TO CALIFORNIA!!! I hope you enjoy living out here, Steve. Like any place, there's always plus and minus issues; but to me, Calif. has a hell of a lot of pluses. I hope your decision to move here turns out to be nothing other than a totally positive experience, and that you decide to stay here for many more years to come!

Steve's hair is longer than mine, Ken. It's only a short while since I last saw him in RL, back East, so I am pretty sure about that. Mainly, though, he has far more volume than I do. My hair is quite fine and thin. I think mine is in fact a similar length to yours.
The Tonya Harding bit was funny, as long as you only use online scissors and not real ones!
Thanks for the welcome. I would have taken some beach pictures the other day too, but my camera ran out the batteries. And yes, that water is indeed cold. I waded in a bit to see what it would feel like, and it was so cold it actually *hurt*.
Heh! Later in the summer, it will warm up to the point that it hurts but you get numb...for now it doesn't stop hurting...you just go straight to cramps and hypothermia.
Hello everyone,
I have been growing my hair since 1979, and it reached terminal length a long time ago but is quite long now.
In 1979 long hair was already out of style since july 11, 1976, and I have a simple philosophy about fads and fashion: Just pick what you like best in all the things that came and went and stick with it.
Have a nice day,
Georges
Hey Georges,
WOW, I had no idea your hair was quite *that* long, --- looks GREAT!!!!
Also, I have a question: is that an older pic, or a new one of you? The reason I ask is because I'm wondering about the mustache... Did you just recently shave it off, --- or are pics of you with a mustache the more recent examples of you??
Just curious...

Hello,
Here is a picture taken on April 14th. The picture in the office was taken last summer, on a "good hair day".
Have a nice day,
Georges
I think all of the board's super longhairs have been mentioned by name except for Hair Religion (Erik) and Elizabeth. Erik wrote the "Repetitively Asked Questions" on the links page. Elizabeth has the honor of being the longest haired member of the board.
Ed
Yes, you're right, Ed: I forgot to mention HairReligion... my aplogies, Erik! His is about the same length as yours, as I recall, --- hip-length, or maybe even longer now, right? And you for got to include a picture of yourself and that amazing head of hair!
