Trying really not to think about my hair or anything like that. I like it sometimes but a lot of the time I don't. At least I made a year.
Hi there Sean,
I like the hair, it looks like we have similar hair types, gotta love the wavy/curly big hair moments huh? hehehehe. I think your hair looks great, congrats on making it to 1 year. My 1 year mark will be June 2nd. Good Luck buddy!
Danny
Hi Sean,
Congratulations on reaching the one year mark, a huge milestone indeed! I am SO glad that you did not cut as I had feared you would a few months back. Your hair is coming along very well indeed, you have a thick mass of healthy curls that will look awesome the longer you grow it. Hang in there and keep up the good work, the rewards are well worth it!
All the best,
David
Sean:
All I can say here is "Damn!" What a big difference. The longer it gets the better it looks on you. Looking very cool IMHO. Keep it up!
Vince
Why don't you like it? :-|
I think it looks a lot better like it is now than it does in your userpic. Your hair looks like it's like mine-does it get in your eyes alot?
Sean, I sorry you're aren't always happy with your hair, but I think it looks great. I can really see a difference between now and your avatar, especially with regards to direction. It's going down now instead of just up and out. You're gaining length through growth AND gravity!
Whatever you choose in the end, know that by making it to a year you've done something that most guys, especially those with curly hair, have never done. Take pride in that.
Good luck!

WOW!! What a difference a year makes, --- you look like a whole different person (and I mean that in a GOOD way - lol)!!!
Getting used to long hair, especially if it's the first time you've ever had it long, does indeed take some time... Hope you can hang in there and keep it growin'!

My avatar pic is auctually at the 5 month mark. When I started it was shorter. This pic is from about a year ago. If I cut it thats what I'll go back to.
It may be driving you nuts but the longer it gets the better it will look and besides you made it this far. How devastated you would be to cut it when your almost there.
Kevin
And "not thinking" about your hair while in the middle of the Awkward Stage is very wise indeed! Your progress is going great and I am glad you have hung-in there for a full year. You will not be dissapointed in the end result. Nobody that puts in their time to gain long hair in the end says they are sorry that they made it. (At least nobody that has posted that I have ever read of unless I may have missed one.)
Amazing! You have definitely came a long way Sean. Congrats!! I can see a major difference in length. Hang in there and keep it growing
Hi Sean glad to hear that you stuck it out for the year as from what I see it was worth it.You have great looking curly hair and just imagine how cool it will look after another year.Just a side note to those on this board who have been around over a year but doesn't Sean remind you of 80s_metal??When I first looked at the avatar that immediately popped into my mind.Mark
Sean, you made a year! Good for you. When you staring posting awhile ago about cutting, I thought you were a gonner. As it gets longer, it WILL get easier and more manageable and look more 'on purpose'. (I keep telling myself that, at least.)
We are at the same stage. Let's keep moving forward together.

I agree with the others it looks good now and will be fantastic longer. I know it this point you feel like there's no controlling it, but that'll change with more length.(good ole gravity just doing its' thing!) Plus you'll be able to tail it when necessary. Hang in there, it gets better!

yeap.I am really glad you didn't cut your hair.It is looking great!!and I can see that it's already starting to grow downward rather than "outward".you certainly are doing the right thing of not obsessing over it.long hair won't necessarily look great every single day.I know mine doesn't.take care man,and keep growing it!!
