I was just wondering about something, i often think that blonde/lighter haircolours suit better with black/darker clothes as it makes the hair stand out alot more, and with dark hair it's the opposite, then you should wear lighter clothes, at least i tend to wear darker clothes now that my natural blonde haircolor is slowly returning.
Do you think the same thing about this or?
Simon
I agree. I tend to wear lighter colored shirts for that very reason, although I do wear darker colored shirts sometimes as well. I'm rather eclectic as far as clothing goes. One day I may wear a black shirt with one of my favorite metal band's graphic on it, and the next day I'll be wearing a pink polo shirt lol
hello !
since i have a weird color (pict are not accurate...) i think it look the same whatever i wear , anyway i'm always in dark clothes, exept the green that enhance the red of my hair.
but i think that dark clothes suit very well with blond hair and vice versa
If your hair is thick and its borders are well-defined, contrasting clothing will show off your hair better. If your hair is thin or tapers off at the bottom as some terminal-length hair does, clothing that contrasts too much will show through the hair and clash with it, especially if the clothing has a strong contrasting pattern.
There is also the matter of one's general hue. Guys with black hair look good in saturated colors. Guys with brown or blond hair look good in earth tones. Eye color may also play a role. And so may your skin color (race).
Over time, one's hues may change. For much of my life I had black hair and blue eyes, and stark blues, reds, and purples looked good on me. Grays also began to look good once I got considerable gray hair. Wearing those colors has become a habit, one that maybe I now need to break. Now that I'm graying further, I'm finding greens look good, and some of the new stuff I buy will have to be green!
