Hello World !
I'm new here. I post from France (I've seen I'm not the one...) so I hope you'll understand if my english is not as good as yours.
So, I'm a longhair guy of 18 (almost 19, okay...). I've let grown my hair since 2.5 or 3 years, I don't remember (I don't think that the date is important, in fact... :p). I have blonde fine and very straight hair. They 're not really blonde. In france we say "Châtain", I don't know in english. Also there are red reflets sometimes.
What else ? I let grow a beard too (It's incredibly RED ! I love it !). I'm interested in sciences, in informatic and in music (I play Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, and a little Guitar). I study at INSA (engineering school, in Lyon). I also like bike.
That's all for the first post.
Here you can see a recent photo (This morning :))
Salutation !
Vivien
Hi Vivien,
I would like to a warm bonjour to you, and a hearty welcome to our community, truly a place like no other on the intermet right now. The great thing is the huge diversity of people we have here, hailing from all parts of the world, and speaking so many different languages as a mother tongue. I would like to add that NO apologies are needed at all for your English at all, you write very well.
Your hair is looking fabulous and appears to be in great condition, and you have come a long ways for only 2.5 to 3 years. Your beard is is great as well, and like mine, is considerably different in colour than my hair.
Be sure to post more often, and I would like to say again, welcome to the hyperboard!
David
Bonjour Vivien! WELCOME TO THE COMMUNITY!
No need to apologize for your English. In fact, It was extremely well written! With that said, Your hair looks incredible. I wish I had such fine and straight hair like that. Also, Thats really good growth for 2 and a half years. Well, Good luck and keep us posted :-)
P.S Do you have a goal length in mind?
Thank you ;)
For the goal, I think I will let my hair grow until terminal lenght, to see what length I reach, and I will decide at this moment... (It would be great if I can have a waist lenght :D)
Bonjour,
Georges
Hi Vivien,
Your English is so much better than my French that I would not even attempt to try any of it. All I can remember is "Combien de piece y'a'til dans votre maison?" HAHAHA!!
Anyhow, your hair looks great and I really like the color. Blond hair always looks cool. The red beard is great as well. Glad for you to have found the board and best of luck in your studies.
See you later, Bragi
Welcome, Vivien. Your hair looks good. Your hair length looks on target for 3 years. Hair usually grows about 15 centimeters per year. A very lucky few have growth rates as high as 30 centimeters per year. Anyway, welcome.

Welcome aboard Vivien,
And Happy Walpurgisnacht, too! Let's all post all of the unisex names we can think of next, with yours at the top of the list. Fear not if your English isn't as good as your native French; us Americans on the board have just the reverse dilemma! Although this phrase I do know, for a little philosophy:
"Seulement Dieu peut compter les pommes dans une graine."
Oui? As for your being blonde with a red beard. Lots of the French who intermarried with Germans, say, from the Alsace-Lorraine region, wherefrom my father's side of the family hails, have the same characteristic. Me, too. And, besides, my father was a redhead. Nowadays, though, at fifty, my beard hair grows in mostly white.
Anyway, once again, Vivien, welcome to the Men's Long Hair Hyboard Organisation! Enjoy yourself! And forget not to . . .
NE CEDE MALIS!
(Yield not unto adversity!)

Hello Vivien,
Welcome to the community. One of the really nice things about the hyperboard is the diversity of people it makes things much more interesting. As for your English well not to worry as many would argue Americans don't speak very good English either..LOL
We look forward to hearing more from you, as we say "don't be a stranger."
Kevin
Welcome, Vivien!!!
And I think your English is just fine, so no worries! You have great-looking hair, --- and it certainly has grown very fast, I'd say.
Take care. And again, a big WELCOME to you!!
- Ken in San Francisco
Hello and welcome to the Hyperboard. Glad that you found us.
Your own long hair looks to be absolutely fabulous!
Great inspiration to us all.
Again, welcome.
Welcome to the site, Vivien! Your English is quite good, and any minor mistakes are no big deal. This board is rather diverse, and English is a very flexible language, so it all works out, lol! =)
I look forward to seeing your further progress.
-James
Thank you for this warm reception !
Glad to know you all !
Honestly, firstly, when I discover this forum, I've thought : "Whoo, totally freaks !" (Not really... in french, this is : "Mais quelle bande d'allumés, haha !"). Lol, finally, longhaired men a subject like an other, isn't it ?
Bye !
Vivien
Hi! Welcome to the board. Your hair looks great! I've been to France twice and love it. One of my favorite places is Monet's garden in Giverney. Of course, Paris and the southern area of Provonce is also beautiful. I live in the USA in New Jersey and am also a musician. I play piano, organ and sing and am a graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music.

P.S. How long are you going to grow your hair?
Vivien:

Hello and welcom,
Glad you found us.
Bonjour! welcome to the hyperboard. You've got some nice locks growing and yes grow the beard too. By the way your English is fine
Hello and welcome. As you may have seen on one of my previous posts, a friend saw me with a ponytail and said it looked French. So, I guess we have a connection somehow since people have informed me that long-haired men and men with ponytails are more common in France than they are over here. So....welcome, friend.
Bonjour Vivien!

My hair Journal (just updated !!!)
Bonjour Vivien!
Pardon my French! ;)
I'm not really French, but having lived and worked in Montréal in a bilingual workplace, I can get by! It's nice to see members from all over the world. Just imagine how long your hair will be in another two or three years! (si ça c'est ton but).
