A few asked what my length goal was. Well, after looking at this pic, I think it would look perfect if it went down to 'the small of my back" which is where the red line is. I originally thought of growing it to the waist.
So unless things change, such as I lose weight and my body changes shape, that is what it will be.
I've calculated that since my last trim in Jan.06, my hair grew between 8-9 inches. Which is slightly a bit faster than the average .5 inch per month. I may have picked up an extra half an inch or so in the winter.
I do believe I read somewhere that hair tends to grow faster during the winter months, or was that facial hair?
So anywho, in order to achieve my goal, I would need another 4-5 inches. So in all likelihood, my goal may be achieved on Christmas. Thank you Santa! LOL
I think your hair would be perfect at the small of your back. I'm not sure about hair growing faster in the winter, but it would make sense, as a lot of mammals grow a thicker coat of fur during the colder periods. I know I am shedding a hell of a lot more hair now than I did in the winter.

That's a good length to achieve, more or less where I am now, and where I'll return as I reach my own goal -belt length.
With the "small-of-the-back" length you can make very good braids, buns, and everything you wish too.
