Hello,
My name is Scott and I am a 15 year old boy trying to grow my hair down to my chin. For a better idea of how I want it, I have a link to a website that has a good picture (unfortunatly, it is a picture of a computer-generated guy, although it is very realistic. I do not know of anyone with the hair style that I want):
http://www.namcoarcade.com/tekken4/profile_hwoarang.asp
He is the guy on the right, with the red hair. I only want the style, not the colour. Anyway, as this is my first time at growing my hair, I would like a little help. Is there anyone who has this style, or has had this style? Is there any information on growing this haricut and maintaining it?
Please could you e-mail me any information.
Thankyou.
Yeah, this guys hair is in sort of "bob" type style. There are many famous actors who have/had styles like these (like Johnny Depp) but most of the time the fringe seems to be cut shorter than chin length, say, nose length.
I have been growing my hair out too into a similar style but with a shorter fringe and the best advice I can give you is to let the back all grow to the same length first whilst keeping your fringe a bit shorter, say nose length, then when the back is almost done, let the front grow. That way, it won't be really long at the front and much shorter at the back for ages. The best thing u can do is ask your barber though for advice, or visit www.georgecaroll.com (hollywood hair stylist) and ask him for advice.
Good luck! Keep at it, let it grow!
Hello,
You may want to visit a site called Bob Haircut Worship Foyer. Just type it in the way I wrote it here. It is mostly for women but the style is what you are trying to achieve. The mens cut is the same way as the womens style is. However, the women may cut it with modifications to make it look more feminine, the basic cut is the same. It is also known as the Dutch Boy cut. It use to be a guy cut until the girls took it over. Now, society says it is a girls cut, Go figure. Good Luck
