For some time now, longhairedmen.com has been "under construction". This has gone on so long now, that we can assume it is probably defunct. In the FAQ it is the site we've recommended to women who want to meet longhairs, since we don't allow personal ads on MLHH. (We've recommended that MEN go to gaylonghair.com, and that site is functioning fine.)
Do any of you know of any sites that are functional at present and that do a good job of putting straight longhairs and women who like longhaired men together? We'd like to link the most prevalent one in our FAQ is such exists.
We know there are women's hair boards, but we're seeking places where "making advances" is considered to be appropriate in the forum, so please don't include them in a response unless that activity is considered acceptable on them.
Thanks for any info any of you have!
Bill

My hair Journal
Good lord. They've been under construction for at least a couple of years now, and they're still accepting pre-registration?
The site is dead. 'Nuff said.
'Nuff said????? Bill has asked (in a most gentleman like fashion) a question to members of the Hyperboard, but of your remarks? Here is what Bill would like to know:
I was commenting on the ludicrousness of a site listing itself as being "under construction" for the last two or more years, yet still offering preregistration for new members, and asserting my own conclusion, in agreement with Bill's theory, that the site appears to be defunct. If I had any suggestions for alternate sites, I would've listed them.
Haven't you ever commented on only part of a post, on any board?
I took your reply just as you intended, Matt. That we've known each other for a decade now may have helped me to not reach any mistaken conclusions. :-)
Thanks for contributing the info about that site's demise being two years ago. I did not realize it had been that long.
I wrote to that site a few months ago, mentioning that we linked them and asking what their plans were. I did not even get the courtesy of a response. I think we can consider it a black hole.
