Yeah I'm pretty certain I've begun to bald...at age 17. Look at this picture, it's self explanatory.
From the looks of this particular pic, and considering your age, I'd say with absolute certainity it's a NORMAL crown/part area, maybe a little oily/greasy
I had to use 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner today cause there was no other kind at my dads. Keep in mind he started balding in his teens and it's probably not good to use the shampoo he uses :/
Hi Dave,
From your picture, it looks as though the thin areas are due to the way you part your hair. In addition, if hair is wet or oily, the hair will appear to be thinner than if it is freshly washed and dry.
If you have ANY concerns whatsoever, you should make an appointment to see a doctor as soon as possible, preferably a dermatologist. The good thing about this is that he can put your mind at ease if there is indeed, nothing wrong. Even if thinning is indeed present, he can start you on a program to save your hair, propecia is very effective, especially for the young.
Take care and keep us posted,
David
Well, I parted it like that just to show the thinning lol.
It's rather difficult to tell for certain, however, DavidN is correct. You should visit your doctor, preferably a Dermatologist, for an examination. If your father started balding at 17, I would make the appointment sometime soon.
Best wishes.
Jeffrey.
Where is the thinning? I don't see any?
Hypocondriac alert lol.
