Altered this photo using the cartoon / comic book feature that came with my camera's software.
Karsten
Really cool! You seem to know much about art and stuff, is this your biggest hobby or?
And also, what kind of camera are you using?
Simon
I just have a Kodak Easyshare Digital Camera - cost $99. Been quite happy with it.
I'm really not an artistic person - just like to have fun and play with my hair.
Karsten
... I altered this photo using a "solorize" feature on Paint Shop Pro.
Don't know if it's artistic or not, and if it wasn't for the hair it would be nothing.
Karsten
It looked like those pictures of crime victims they would do to in those crime mystery documentaries...
With the angle and the colors on this one, it almost looks like you're swimming out from under something and your hair is being swept to the surface. Very cool!

Karsten, my hirsute bruh,
You do NOT give yerseff enuff kwedit! Your mane is INDUBITABLY enviable, granted. Why, I my(s)elf cannot WAIT 'til my own length achieves its original magnificence of hip-length, BUT, you do, as Simpa88 can attest, have an artistic knack. So? What, pray tell, IS the computer program you're using? Great stuff! My own speshul effex are due to a Mac Os Ten. Nice, huh?
Best in hisutism,
Quenyan (+:-)}
I'm using Paint Shop Pro ... this one is using the rotating mirror effect and clone brush.
Karsten
As usual Karsten your pics are so much fun to view as I never know what to expect when you post them.Otherwise you've got GREAT hair as I hope mine is that nice as I get older but you do give me hope.Great work!!!!Mark
Hey Karsten
Isn't doing stuff like that a blast! Really neat creative photos for sure. You are quite artistic in your abilities.
I do not have Photoshop, but have a very unique program called "BlackMagic" as well as "PhotoExpressions." Between the two of them I can take a photo that was shot in B+W and work on it until it is colourized.
Here is an example, but it was extremely difficult to do this photo because of its age. The great Composer, Frederick Chopin (1810-1849) Colourized from a Tin-Type of about 165 years ago in bad condition. Probably about as close as one could get to actually seeing what Chopin might have looked like in colour. When you get to more modern photos (the 1880's) very often you can make the photo appear as if it was really taken in colour and cannot tell that it was from a B+W Photo. From the 1920's onward all becomes easier.......but MUCH trial and error as well as practice is needed to be able to do this.
Continue to enjoy and have fun! :-)
Justin~
Karsten, yout creativity is amazing! Your hair is really a natural phenomenon, it really looks great the way you leave it on the ground, flying, etc... This cartoon pic is cool too!
I like that effect Karsten, although I have to say that your pictures have great artistic qualities in their 'natural' state and prefer them that way.
I use Photoshop maybe 5-6 hours every day and it does have an array of cool effects but never would they replace a well taken and composed photograph.
All the best, Dave
Nice pic! I also love the avatar, beautiful.
My hair is a bit similar to yours I believe. Is that your natural hair colour?
