Hi Uwe,
It's always hard for me to even imagine hair that long (and that FULL)...
Previous to knowing about the existence of Danny Cecati, my mega-longhair idol was Jack from the Hawaiian metal group 8MM Overload. His hair is just an inch or 2 past his knees, --- about the maximum limit of what I would ever want my own hair-length to ever get to (if indeed it can even grow that long - lol).
Am I jealous?? Hell, YES!!!!!!!
Would i REALLY want to have floor-length hair??? Naaaaaaa, --- "too long" for my tastes: I'd cut it back to knee-length, --- a MUCH more "practical" length to have, in my opinion (lol)!!

until you caught it in your lawn mower!!
You would really want your hair as short as knee length. It seems so conservative. Next you'll be telling us that you are a Republican.
Del
Lol!! Yes, Knee-length is indeed both "short" and also "conservative", --- at least that's the way 90% of us on this board feel (lol)!! But, hey... REPUBLICAN??? C'mon, del, give me more credit than that, --- them there's fightin' words (lol)!!!!

Hey del,
On a completely different topic...
In catching up with posts that I got behind in (waaaaaaaaay down the page by now, --- if even there anymore), i GREATLY enjoyed your pic of you dancing in that ballroom competition! What are your favorite dances? I do a lot of partner dancing myself: mostly Swing (West Coast Swing being my favorite), Salsa, and C&W 2-Step. I teach W. C. Swing on a very occasional part-time basis; but have only a "Bronze-level" ability at most of the Ballroom dances (if that). I took some Ballroom training at an old "Ma & Pa"-run studio back in the early '90s, a place called the Renaissance Ballroom (SF's oldest ballroom that's still in operation). They had a more old-fashioned "Fred & Ginger" styling, though, --- they didn't care for the more modern competitions in International-style. The couple that owned the studio used to fight like cats & dogs, --- VERY full of big-time drama (their lives were just like a torrid Tango - lol).... But, hey, I learned a lot, and I feel the training helped me subtly improve my Swing dancing, which is still my "first love!"
Anyway, so glad to read that there's another avid dnaceaholic on here. There's also a friend of mine, William, who occasionally posts here. He's a Ballroom dancer like you. He lives in Chicago.
I haven't yet clicked on your avatar pic, to see if it takes me to a website; but I will check that out soon! If you click on my pic, it will take you to an introductory page, then gives you a choice of where to go next, --- including a Dance Page. It's mostly just my way of having some fun and being silly with my humor; but I enjoyed every minute of putting it together (Which I owe Bill a HUGE debt of gratitude for helping me do, since I am VERY computer-stupid)!
Take Care,
Ken
Hi Ken,
I own my own Ballroom dance studio which is called Broadway Ballroom in Lawrenceville, NJ. My web site is www.broadwayballroom.com where you will see a few pictures and some information about my studio. I really like both American and International styles and teach Bronze, Silver and Gold levels. I started as a child with Jazz, Tap and Ballet and after college I toured the country in "A Chorus Line" and "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas." I've also done shows in Atlantic City and South Korea (actually a very nice country). I've competed in Ballroom professionally and also like swing, salsa and hustle alot. Good luck with your teaching. It really is a lot of fun isn't it. Talk to you soon.
Del
I personally think it is just too long.
I agree with max it's too long for my taste. Two or three inches past the belt is just about right for me when i get there.
I heard some of this guys singing and he can't sing that well, too bad.
Kevin
I'm totally jealous. If I COULD grow hair that long, I would - I'd want to know how long terminal length is. But then once I knew, I'd bring it back to something more manageable, like knee length. Of course it doesn't matter because I already suspect that my terminal length is MUCH shorter.
