Hi. Me again! I have a post a few posts down about facial hair, but something else is that I think I should also mention that I'm Asian. I've heard that alot of people of Asian descent don't typically grow much facial hair. Does anyone know if there's anything to that? Thanks in advance!
Alex
Do you have a pic of yourself?
"Asian" is too broad a classification.
Some South Asians like Punjabi Sikhs from northern India
can grow full beards easily. Among East Asians
(Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Vietnamese), Japanese can
more easily grow full beards than the Chinese,
Koreans, and Vietnamese (CKV). The CKVs can grow
mustaches and whispy goatees (like the former leader
of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh), but have difficulty in growing
full beards--it's just not part of their genetic makeup.
I am of Chinese descent, but also a Sikh. The Punjabi
Sikhs are always kidding me about not having a full
beard instead of a mustache and whispy goatee. I have
to explain to them the difference in genetic inheritance! :-)
