I did a search for shower head water softeners after reading the msgs here about water hardness. I couldn't find any except shower heads that filter. We have very hard water here and I'd like to get a softener but they whole-house type is $$$. I -could- get/use spring water for just hair washing but that could get $$ too. Any suggestions?

Continue to wash with hard water. Just use shampoo and then plenty of conditioner after.
I live in a place where there is hard water and my hair is never dry.
