Hiya everyone!
I just got my final last hi-school graduation exams! I haven't slept all the night, because of unknown reason (stress, huh?) and the exams itself were so looooooong and thus stressing, but I'¡m a real member of human society now! Two of us eight failed today and my best friend almost didn't managed it, but it doesn't count (in opposite, its a great reason to get drunk!). I just have celebrated my
English language 1,
Electronics 2,
Czech literature 1,
Automatization technics 1
I wonddeeeehr if someone will have any better score than me, but unfortunately, crammers can't boast :D And I'm accepted to the 2nd best university in this small country! Of course, we have provided lots of buffeting for all teacher staff and some booze for those who helped us the most! So lets post this post full of gramatical errrrrrrrors before I get sober :))
Peace, love, entheogens,
Naex!§!!
Congratulations, Naex! Shows that us longhairs are as good as/if not better (hehe!) than your average shorthair. Excuse my gust of elitism ;). Good luck at the university. What will you be studying?
Thanks! I definitely agree with that, we longhairs are often quite special :) There will be probably more of longhairs at the university, than I'm used to see usually.
I will study Informatics, or Applied informatics. Probably there will be some programming techniques, data analysis, artificial idiocy, and some less or more OT subjects. I hope in some game development subjects, but it would be also nice to know something of fractals. With such subjects, I think that rest of my social intelligence will go to hell, or is there some way to stay an earthling despite of infection by high abstractness?
By the way, I will probably keep using a certain game editor for fun. One of the first ones in English is Coreador but I have a small secret project as a hobby. In free whiles I keep adding there various features as in a programming playground. So far it is a bit similar to Metroid and several less known games. But I have to keep my mouth shut about it when talking with girls :)
I think I remember reading a statistic (as disdainful as I am toward statistics) that posited that, the higher one's I.Q. as a child, the more likely one will become a vegetarian later in life. I'd assume the same is true for other culturally unusual things, including long hair. ;)
This is why I've been so deep into music and more artsy things lately. I'm a programmer myself, and after a while of working on my most recent graphics project, I just couldn't take it anymore. I only do stuff while it's fun, and it's hard to have if I don't feel like I'm experiencing the world in more ways than one. My advice would be to take up something more "right-brained" as a hobby at least.
