Thanks to everyone who wrote in with their letters of protest to Albertsons/Save Mart. The company has backed off their No Long Hair/beard policy and will allow their employees to grow in peace. WE WON!
Wow! That's great!
for longhairs. Sooner or later, corporate America will come around and realize that long hair for us is as natural as eating and breathing. Hopefully they will also realize that forced cutting of that hair, for some of us, can cause extreme emotional distress.

That is awesome news. :-) Now if we could only bring vacuum tubes back...
You know you can still get vacuun tubes, they still make them in Russia
I know they are still around. I had to order a couple for an old 1949 tabletop radio I restored. Got mine NOS. A lot of guitar amps use them too. I'd like to see them in home audio. :-) From what I have read, my H.H. Scott audio stuff sounds very close to tubes. :-)
I thought you never dabbled in tube amps.... These days people just make stuff cause its cheap so they can sell it at outrageous prices... I heard some of the russian tubes uses the same equipments that manufactured tubes in the old days... however theres a bunch of toob noobs in Taiwan that says "I dont buy stuff from communist countries" (therefore only have expensive American NOS toobs...)
There's hope for civilization yet.
