Man, I've been sooo busy lately, I haven't had time to post too much. Congratulations to the great updates posted recently - Jake, DaPs, Firein the Sky, Wolf-S, Simpa88. Wecome back No18 (ex-Blond) and Walter. Congratulation to Mr. E Bums for a sucessful "dusting", and thanks for Absalom for posting pics from the Fair. If I missed anyone - sorry :(
I was going to post a few more pics from just a couple of weeks ago, but alas its' only this one. I'll post more @ the end of June, after I get back from our trip out west. Should be some good pics in that bunch!
Milestones: Today I found that I could shave without putting my hair in a ponytail. It stays behind my shoulders easily! :)
Found my first split hair and the frizzys are driving crazy! :(
Bruce
Grats on the progress. You might want to shave the back of your neck though. I've found that my own hair looks much better tied back when the back of my neck is clean shaven.
Thanks Nyghtfall, I noticed that in that picture also. I shaved 1/2 way up, then trimmed the rest.
Bruce
WOW! You have made awesome progress. I see a huge difference in length. It appears to me that you can finally fit all of your hair in the tie. Definitely a milestone. I'd like to congratulate you and wish you lots of joy on your trip out west.
Take Care
Thank you Chris, looking forward to your next update.
Bruce
Hi Bruce,
MAN and congratulations! Does your hair grow fast, tight up there in the same league as ChrisG!!! At 19 months, your ponytail is already as long as mine, and I have been growing for OVER 3 years! (it is possible I may be close to terminal length) It is certainly a blessing to be blessed with perfectly straight hair as you are, always the fastest growing hair. Your ponytail looks great as well, good and thick. With hair as fast growing as yours, waist length should be easily attainable, I hope you consider that. (You already are near your original mid-back goal) I'm looking forward to your June pictures, and best wishes for your trip out west, hope it goes great.
Keep it growing,
David
Thank you David, I think my goals are always changing so even I don't know when I may stop. The longest hair on my head is 10", average I think. I think I may have tilted my hair back, making it appear that my tail was longer. Anyway I'm happy with my progress thus far.
Looking forward to your next update,
Bruce
Congrats on the shaving breakthrough, Bruce! Also, have a good time on your trip and do take lots of photos. Keep it growing! =)
-James
Thanks James, funny how that happened. My wife needed to tie her hair back so I let her use my hair band.
You hair is coming along nicely, and I'm looking forward to your next update.
Bruce
That is a milestone; eliminating another one of the "pain in the butt" elements of the awkward stage. I'm hoping to be there before too long also.
Looks good.
George
Thanks George, I'm pretty much past the awkward stage. It happens pretty fast once your there, one day you wake up and things that bothered you yesterday are no more!
Take care,
Bruce
great. You have good length now. Keep growing it for sure.
Absalom
Thanks Absalom, as is yours!
Take care,
Bruce
Hi Bruce:
Wow, it sure does seem like your hair grows fast! It looks great, and maybe I just missed your other updates. Have fun on your vacation and look forward to some shots in the Western grandeur of nature.
I think the frizz is a universal problem, one of those things that goes with longer hair. I quit worrying about it because it's not going away!
Thank you Bragi, I don't update too often so there might be a bit of difference from the last one. The frizzies don't usually bother me but that day it did. I'm over it now.
Bruce
Hello there Bruce! Hair's lookin great, when was that avatar pic taken, as it's quite an improvement since then, hopefully i can grow my hair as long someday, right now i'm only 2 months into my longhair journey, and i've done about one tiny trim since i started but for now i'm gonna try to let it grow for at least a year, then we'll se what happens, right now shoulder length is a next step, but maybe i'll grow even longer, we'll see what happens:)
Take care!
Simon
Thanks Simon, that pic was taken in Feb. My hair was damp in this picture so it may appear to be longer.
Your hair is coming along nicely, shoulder length should be no problem.
Take car,
Bruce
Hi Bruce,
Wow, your hair really does grow quickly. I think it looks great both loose and in the ponytail. Keep it growing!
Jason
Thanks Jason, Maybe I'll try braids sometime.
Take care,
Bruce
Looks super Bruce! Isn't it wonderful to finally reach the point that you have and start to be able to enjoy the benifits of long hair. Your hair also has a very nice colour to it.
Good luck with future growth.
Thank you Justin, it is nice to be out of the awkward stage. That color does include gray, not a bad thing, it doesn't bother me at all.
Bruce
Hang in there, Bruce, --- and try a little beneficial oil on the ends, as it can help prevent BOTH the splits & the frizzys!
The hair is lookin' great there, though!
- Ken
I'll have to try that. Thanks for the advice Ken.
Bruce
Great progress, dude! Wow. I remember when you first posted a pic. You've really come far, and the hair's come with you - it certainly suits you, in my opinion. I think I remember you mentioning that your wife didn't like it too much, though; if so, has she warmed up to it yet?
The sad thing is that my hair, when stretched, is a bit longer than yours, but some of mine has yet to even reach my shoulders, much less stay behind my back. Curly hair can be evil.
Keep up the good work!
Peace
Hi Bruce,
Great update, your hair is longer than I remember, I don't have the shaving problems, but I seem to be getting hair in mouth alot these days when I eat.
Anyway, great stuff, best regards, dave
Hey, Scooper, it's got pretty long! Sorry I couldn't reply earlier but I haven't been around lately and I've missed many great updates. How long have you been growing it again?
I would say being able to keep your hair behind your shoulders is a major milestone. Congrats! Your hair is looking great, and I wish you safe travels.
Keep it growing!
