Well, it's been a year since my last haircut. I graduated college about this time last year and had a haircut right before. Then I got a job and decided it was finally time. The previous string of "you have to look presentable to get into a good school / to get a summer job / to get a real job / for your sisters wedding" had finally ended.
I've posted a couple times on the board before, perhaps some of you may remember my face. Hopefully my hair won't look too familiar though :-). I have been lurking pretty consistently though, so I've been keeping up with everyone's updates. Well done/looks great/keep growing to everyone! Specifically, Jason's numerous braid updates were very inspirational. I don't know what style I actually want to wear my hair, but it's great to know there are so many great looking possibilities out there once I'm ready.
I'll be posting a couple more pics following this one. If you are just getting started, I think my hair grows at pretty average speed, so these might be useful to see where you'll be in a year.
Hi Gregor,
Congratulations on reaching the one year mark! Your hair looks AWESOME, you have THICK and healthy hair that can only get better the longer it gets. Keep growing it for sure!
All the best,
David
Superbly thick hair! And that's a lot of growth for 1 year! One year more and your hair will look fantastic with the thickness you have.
Congratulations, fellow one-yearer...uh... lol. Anyway, the hair looks great so far! Keep it growing and in another year, it's gonna look downright awesome! =)

Hi Gregor
Your hair looks great.Margie
Hi Gregor
Nice update thanks, Your hair has a nice wave to it some people would kill for that or at the very least pay good money to get it.
As I respond here I did see the other pics, your doing really well your hair is healthy and has a nice shine.
Look forward to more posts in the future.
Take care
Kevin
Welcome Gregor! I have to admit your hair after only a year looks superb. Its almost like you missed the awkward stage completely and hopefully that was not too bad for you.Anyway thanks for the great pic and do keep em comming!!Mark
Isn't it amazing how many excuses people can come up with to try to prevent men from growing their hair out? The good news is that the longer your hair gets, the more unlikely it will be that parents or other influential relatives or friends are going to expect you to compromise yourself at the NEXT family wedding or whatever, --- and even if they dare to ask you to cut it for whatever the event is, the longer your hair gets, the more you'll know it's not worth the "temporary" sacrifice... long hair just takes too long to achieve to not be protective of it once ya got it!
Similarly with jobs... and thankfully, most jobs these days don't discriminate against longhairs like they used to do, --- depending on what feild of work you're in, at least.
Your mane looks AMAZING, --- very thick & full (and well cared for, to boot)!!!!! I definitely remember your name; but I don't recall ever seeing you send in a pic of yourself before... Either that, or you look SO different now, that it is like a complete TRANSFORMATION (a transformation for the BETTER)!!!!!!!
Keep it growin', --- and the next time someone tells you that you need to look "presentable" for something or other, tell them: "Long hair is VERY presentable, --- it's short hair that looks disasterous!"

I'm very happy to hear you got a job after graduation where you were free to grow your hair. That's great. It looks very well-grown and has a nice wave to it. I think you'll continue to enjoy it the longer it gets.
Good luck, and look forward to a two year update.

Hi, Gregor. Your hair has definitely came along. It it looking so healthy and so full and thick. I can't wait to see what it will look like in another year. Great update.
Keep it growing
thats great progress for a year. You know I think the first year is the hardest, so it's a milestone for sure. I'm finding the second year much easier.
Keep it growing and flowing gregor.
