Hi
I am new to this site and would be very gratefull if someone could help me.
I am looking to have the hair style of on my my favourite soccer players-Robert Ayala from Argentina.
At the moment i have medium lenght hair.
To achieve this style would i intially have to have my hair cut in a style that allows it to grow longer from the top rather then just above my neck? Also should i have it cut around my ears?
Please help!

Im sorry i dont have a pic of myself-(no digital camera) but can describe my hair at the moment.
It is about 3 inches long at the front and the same at the rear.
I had it thinned out the other day and the hairdresser cut just above the neck(1 inch) and ears(1/2 inch).
He said this way it would stop my hair from the mullet look and the hair above my ears would grow and soon cover that area
Keep it growing for at least another 8 months yet!
