I read the posts on this hyperboard everyday and I really appreciate the advice you all give. I have fine curly hair so I am trying to grow it out as long as possible. It grows about 1/2 to 3/4 inch every month. Its almost 5 inches after starting with an inch or less 8 months ago. I havent had a hair cut since. I usually gel it back since I work in public affairs so u cant really see the length in my pics. Im mostly native american, jamaican,and irish so anywayz, have a nice week.
Hi Monroe

Villkommen aboard, Monroe!
You're gonna look great with long hair, man. Interesting pedigree you've got, Native American, Jamaican, and Irish. I'm Scots-Irish, French-Canadian, English, German, and Merovingian! Also, one of my grandfather's names was Monroe, too. Keep us apprised of your progress growing yr hair and welcome aboard again. Peace. I tend to think that the corporate world is finally becoming more lenient towards longer hairstyles for men, since our numbers just keep increasing.
Yours in longhaired camaraderie,
Quenyan (+:-)}
Hi Monroe
Welcome. Your hair will be really cool when its long I hope your job wont be a problem as it grows out. Slicking it back works for you but as you know we read a lot of stories about "I had to cut my hair cause of work" We look forward to more updates down the road.
Growing your hair out is like a journey.
Enjoy the journey
Kevin
Welcome aboard! I'm new too, but everyone has been very welcoming, this is a very friendly place. I have curly hair too, about one year going, it's rather stressful if I do say so myself due to it poofing all over the place. But the payoff is worth it as you get to see your hair growing over time. Patience is key! Good luck, see you around!
