I've been hanging out on this board for quite a while now, never actually posting.
However, I would now like to start contributing to this community. So, my first post, and a transformation after 13 months (For hair, weight, and facial hair!)
Since then, my hair has grown a considerable amount, lost 75 pounds (from 237. Now weigh 162.), and am now what you would call a metalhead. Black Metal, Thrash Metal, Traditional, and other forms of music (such as Post-rock, Trip-hop, Freeform Jazz, and Folk are other styles that I enjoy thoroughly).
But anyways. Pictures from earlier today:

Bah. Goth has never really scared me. People are just a bit too into someone's appearance, and an emotion is made just because of that first impression.
Such as: "Oh no! He's wearing a denim/leather jacket, blue jeans, and combat boots! He's gonna stomp my face in!" and other such nonsense.

Welcome to the site! I also lost a bunch of weight over the past 9 months or so, but nothing quite like your achievement (40 lbs). Your hair looks great and I look forward to your progress down the road. =)

Thats still pretty good. You might have not had to lose as much weight as I, though. Bigger people lose weight faster, hence my pretty big weight loss.
And as a side note: My goal for this summer is to get to 150. 12 more pounds. Don't want to lose anymore than that, due to my naturally large bones/frame.
Oh, I definitely know about being big. I'm 6'8". But it sounds like you know what you're doing and have set a reasonable goal for yourself. Best of luck on achieving it.
