Howdy guys!
I'm a new poster here!
I'll introduce myself in another topic.
I was just wondering is it possible to have hair like Legolas in Lord of The Rings?
I think it looks awesome!
Anyone agree? and how do you look after your hair?
do you use regular shampoo or conditioner or both? is it best to stick to combs only or use brushes?
I want the legolas elf hair!!

and longer. I know from personal experience. It depends on genetics, age, hormone levels, and even diet and lifestyle.
Let's see:
I don't smoke.
I eat a reasonably healthy diet and take supplements. MSM and saw palmetto are great for hair, and I take these.
I have a somewhat low testosterone count. Only 361, the last time I was checked. (The reference range is 299 to 999.)
I have good genetics. My mother had great hair.
Even without all of these favourable circumstances, most men, with some patience, can grow their hair to at least 6 inches past their shoulders.
Best wishes on your long hair journey.

Yes. That having been said it should be understood that
his hair consists of extensions and they have people to
take care of his hair.
Actually it was a wig, not extensions. There are many many photos of Orlando Bloom out there on the web showing the mohawk he kept down the middle of the top of his head during filming, while shaving the rest of his head, in order to make the daily application of the wig as easy as possible.
He kept the mohawk strip down the middle to add height to the wig in the center.
See the picture in the link below.

My hair is that length and generally the same kind of thickness/straightness. So yeah it's possible. I never tried braiding my hair that style but if I did it would look similar.
hey man,
awesome hair, definately inspiring!! I'm sure it would take some dedication to get hair that long but it pays off
Edge rocks too :)
While, Legolas certainly has an impressive looking mane in Lord of The Rings, I don't realy regard him as a genuine longhair, unlike say you and others on this board.
Nice hair, Superstar!
