hi I'm a 15 year old boy. I was wondering if I should grow my hair long. It is at a #2 buzz cut. My friends told me to grow my hair longer than my weist. They say I would look very cool. Also most kids in my school have long hair that are boys. I could stair at them all day it is so cool. So I was looking on the web and many long haired people inspired me to so I'm going to do it. I'm going to grow it out down to my butt. My girl friend says I should. what do you think. It is right now below my sholders. Please tell me what should I do.
You are really lucky to have a school like that where you wouldn't be prejudiced against for long hair. Just make sure though that you are doing this for yourself and NOT for someone else. If you want long hair by all means grow it, but don't feel pressured to because everyone else is doing it. Just remember, it's not the length of the hair, it's how well it's taken care of.
So, which is it?

Wow, you must go to a cool school since the one I go to has only a very few boys with long hair. The majority seem to prefer buzzcuts.
But I like it - everyone knows me, if not by name, then its the hair. I wear a ponytail, about 20 inches long, tied up high on the back of my head. The lower portion (below the tail) is kept shaved. I like the look.
You should start by paying more attention in school and learning how to spell weist should be waist stair should be stare and sholder should be shoulder and a #2 is not below your shoulders
