Dubbya just shouted this out after meeting him, according to the Washington Post. I agree with him. He should stand down in favour of Bono, or Socks the cat, or anyone really!
As in Bono from U2? Ugh! I can't stand that guy. Such a pretentious moron. I wanna break those annoying glasses he's always wearing whenever I see him.
Eddie Izzard for president!
Stewie from Family guy for President!
Yes! I agree! Much better than George Bush! I can't stand that liar, psychopath and war criminal.
So if we have Bono as president does that mean Cher is
the first lady?
It was Bono from U2, not Sonny Bono! He died in 1998, sad to say. But you were kidding me, right?
...although he would have been eligible, which Bono from U2 isn't, because he's Irish.
Cher as First Lady that would be wild I like it.
All those wild clothes and hats she wears to official state dinners.
LOL
Kevin
As usual the president doesn't know what he is saying.
Didn't Cher's Bono, Hippy turned Republican, run into a tree and kill himself?
But the Irish singer Bono, surely did not name himself from Cher's Bono. This guy astually tires to live up to his name.
Re. Bush's reported comment, I do not think he is eligible to be present since he is not a native born United Stateser. And even if he were, I do not think he would be popular with Bush's base "base."

Maybe he was proposing Bono for president of Ireland. They have both a president and a prime minister, like the French do. The president is Mary McAleese, and the prime minister is Bertie Ahern.
This is not a political discussion group, and since Bono is now a short-hair, it doesn't fit here. It's funny that people don't want to offend anyone, unless that anyone is conservative, white or male. I try to remain inoffensive in my comments, so no toes are stepped on, and then someone posts something that aims right at my core beliefs with seemingly no regard for how it will effect my feelings. I know it's not aimed at me personally, but it feels personal. It's also funny that liberals talk, they sound like they think they're in the majority, but "Dubbya" (or as he should be called, President Bush) did win the election, twice. Even though he's attacked for the job he's doing, he DEFINITELY beats the alternative! I shudder to think about the state the world would be in if Al Gore had won. (And, no, he didn't win the election. Like it or not, that is the way our system works, as it was set up by the founding fathers to keep the big-city-elite from forcing their will on the country as a whole.) Face it, you're in the minority. And, even though the Dixie Chicks spouted their misguided comments in England (since an American country music audience would have booed them of the stage), that doesn't mean we need critcism from the rest of the world.
But I was agreeing with President Bush! ROTFLMAO!
