i have a big problem. My hair look shiny and pretty healthy but... when I touch it , it feel darmaticaly DRY ! especialy on the end.
i have tried many things but didn't worked...
here is my routine:
gently brushing my hair before washing it -> baby shampoo (that must'nt be hard wuth hair right ?) -> a lot of conditioner -> cold rinse -> towel dry a bit -> hair dry.
once dry i put a small amount of olive oil in my hair and i gently finger comb and brush my hair gently.
You who have soft hair please help me :(

yeah I have this as well, my hair is about the same length of yours, and I didn't have this 4 months ago, its just hairs that have fallen out coming back in, so don't cut em.

I also had this, and it turned out to be the shampoo/conditioner I was using, I switched to a salon product and don't have it anymore.
I would say switch to a shampoo that was was intended for your hair. I did the baby shampoo a few years back and it left my hair matted. Now at lower back length I tried it again a few months ago and it was horrible.
As for the short hairs, Everyone has them, maybe switching from a brush to an extremely wide toothed comb will help.

I agree with your comment about switching away from the baby shampoo, as years ago I used to use that as well, --- and my hair always felt dry afterwards. I use shampoo that usually you can only buy at Health Food stores, Avalon Organics' Lavender being my favorite (they also have a conditioner). But as far as brushing goes, as long as Angel is NOT brushing his hair when wet (when hair is weakest), to brush the hair when dry is very good for stimulating the scalp and bringing out the natural oils. I also put some additional oil on my hair ends as well, --- Kukui nut oil, Jojoba oil, or Almond oil are all beneficial (just a small amount is sufficient). This is in addition to using leave-in conditioner, as well as regular conditioner, after every time I shampoo. Also shampooing less often helps. On average, I shampoo about every 3-4 days, no more than that. With my hair reaching down to my beltline now, all these little steps have helped prevent dryness, as well as cut down on the number of split ends.

Don't hair dry and try to almost not touch your hair with the towel at all, unless you're really pressed for time. When you do, you're taking out all of the scalp oil that's left with the water.
Hello ,
Thanks you all for your advices.
now i'v got a better shampoo and a better conditioner and my hair is a bit softer, now i need to find some better oil and a leave in conditioner.
