you photograph beautifully!!
Hey Dave:
Really a noticeable change; you have gone all the way from wild man to 70's college professor in one fell swoop! Looks great!
George
Your natural look is great, and these pics just contribute to that. :) I'm into nature too.
Hi Dave,cool photos mate.
Your a proper long hair now.I have not posted for some time now,but still lurking when i get time. Im coming up to 8 months, so i cant wait to get some real lenth, at the moment i look like a 70s porn star. (apologies to 70s porn stars). Also i have never seen them ,thats just what im told lol.
Well Dave all the best dude, keep on growing. Jonny H uk.
p.s. Where are those rocks? uk?
Hi Jonny, thanks. Yeah they are in Cheddar Gorge, Somerset.
All right, Daaaaave! Finally gettin' there, so keep it growin' & goin'! Nice starkness of the B & W pic; where, prithy tell, IS it? It seems like it's a very old, abandoned rock quarry. Is it? There's one particular one from the Colonial era nearby that I've gotta have my wife take pictures w/ me at . . .
Yours in longhaired camaraderie,
Quenyan (+:-)}
Thanks everso for your comments Quenyan, the place is Cheddar Gorge:

Hi Dave,
What a WONDERFUL group of photos, in such beautiful surroundings, these pictures are genuine artistry at work.
As always, your hair and beard are WAY cool, you have come SO far in your journey. Thank you for sharing these marvellous photos, and keep up the hearty growth!
Take care,
(another) Dave
Thanyou Dave, your comments are very much appreciated, you really are a gentleman.
How about an update from you soon?
Bye for now, Dave (the hairy, wild, nutti one).
Hi Dave,
As always, you are so gracious in your replies! Sorry, no update for now, as my hair doesn't grow that fast (perhaps in July or August), but I DID try my first braid on Saturday, using Jason's instructions, but it was only a trial and not really worth posting here. (I posted it in my private journal over at the Long Hair Community, along with a bunch of other pictures)
Take care,
Dave
Truly amazing! Your hais has gotten so long and this was a fabulous update. The scenery is outstanding and it portays your hair in a great manner. Once you hit the 2 years it should be even better!
Hi Dave:
Your photographer friend is quite talented. Those are some cool b/w shots. Definately have a sage-philospher look to you. Though I must admit, my favorite picture that you ever posted was of that bunny rabbit with a pancake on it's head. Do you remember that?? I laughed for 2 days straight at that photo.

You mean . . . this one!!
Thanks as ever Vince!!
Cheers, Dave
Yes that's the one! Absolutely brilliant. I'm not joking, I sent this to my family, friends and co-workers. Had quite a lengthly discussion with my brother about this odd photo. My co-workers did not understand it's brilliance. I'm sure they think I'm quite mad for sharing it with them at all.
Vince
Its one of those things Vince, where you put two things together that have no realtion whatsoever, then something happens. I always look at him and wonder what he is thinking.
yes, yes! The absurdity of a bunny rabbit having a pancake on it's head.... It just makes no sense at all. There's no rational way to have these 2 things photographed together like this. Completely insane really..and absolutely BRILLIANT!

I've been lurking only recently, as both my job and a family crisis have been pressing on my time; but, these photos are so outstanding that I just had to comment...
First off, your mane is looking "classic longhair", in my opinion. It's grown beyond just "shaggy", and now that it's hit the shoulders, I have to say it suits you extremely well! And the backdrop your friend has chosen to take those pics couldn't be a better compliment, --- along with the photography being in B&W, I'd say these artistic pics are simply winners in every way!!
Thanks for sharing your pics, Dave, --- and keep that mane a-growin'!!!

Great pictures...your hair is wild, free and beautiful and suits you perfectly.
Hey Dave, awesome hair as always. It's great progress for 18 months and the pictures are very artistic and professional. Keep it growing!
-Mihnea
Hey Dave! What super pics! Your hair is looking better and better...and kudos to your photographer as well. Thanks for the further inspiration. Max
Hey Dave!
These are by far, The most artistic photos I have seen in a while. Your hair looks remarkable, as always. It seem healthy and, "whats that word again"? WILD!
Awesome update Wildman, Thanx for sharing
Great Photos!
Black & White always presents a more formal image, and the Medieval Forest setting just fortifies my Aragorn image of you ! HA!
All you need now is a sword and a couple of Orcs & Dragons ! HA!
Lookin' Good !
WWT
Awesome hair man. Great settings in your photos. :-)
Such artistic works by your friend! I think it's safe to say that you're beyond the awkward stage, though I'm sure that you never had one to begin with. =) Keep up the awesome growth, Dave. It suits you quite well!

Nice update Dave, your hair's looking good. I love the backdrop it reminds me of when I went with a friend to Cheddar Gorge. We took a lot of pics also I'll have dig in the archives and post a few.

Kevin
Wow those are such incredible pictures Dave! They are exceptionally stunning, your mate has incredible talent with a camera. Really cool, and your look really compliments the wild beautiful scenery. You have much to be proud of, you look terrific dude, definitely enjoy your look! Take care my friend
Nuttidave, your hair is developing very nicely. Continue to grow it for sure. It is only going to get better, the best is yet to come.
You look like my old friend named Steve. He had lovely long hair and was 6'5" tall and skinny. Steve weighed 145 pounds.

Hi Dave,
This set of pictures is great! They capture such a contemplative mood and synergy with the surroundings. The natural backgrounds are so beautiful and stark with the rocks and especially the big tree.
Where was this at? Somewhere in England?
Thanks, and see you later,
Bragi
No, thank you! Oh, and your hair is coming along nicely too!
Hi Bragi, thankyou for your kind comments, yes it is in England, in a place called Cheddar which is in Somerset (SW England).
Best regards, Dave
Bro...
Awesome update, my man! Great shots...the black and white just captures the moment..nice! Your updates are some of the ones I look forward to the most. I DIG the way your hair is growing, man..."ROCKIN'" is just the word that keeps coming to mind. Both your hair and beard compliment your facial features nicely, me thinks! Thanks for sharing, bro...I look forward to what the next 6 months has in store for you and your hair.
Cheers, my friend...
