Hello again! I imagine no one remembers me but I posted some time back with a few questions and I am back again. This time I'm getting fed up with dealing with my hair being so...stiff. it's alright here and there but when I let it down it poofs out quite a bit. Rather than my hair being limp and bending to the will of gravity it's a bit more....resistant. I have a serious split end issue currently (though I look to rectify that eventually) so when i put my hair in a pony tail, THAT also goes bushy. I imagine some of you have used hair softeners. I was wondering if there were any good brands or brands to avoid. I was also wondering about the duration of these products. I mean do they operate like hair color (use it every month or so) or are they more for between washes? Currently my hair is ~34"-37" if that helps. I can also post pictures if you guys wish.
Hello, Zee
I use a very good hair gel called "Making Waves" (made by Graham Webb of Oakland CA). It's a professional hair product only available in salons, but it works very well for me. I generally use about two tablespoons worth every two days. First I shampoo and condition, then apply Making Waves. I comb it through so that my hair is nearly straight, then put it in a pony tail for at least 3 hours or until dry. When I remove the hair band, it's just like I want it to be, and it holds for about two days before my hair starts to get puffy and frizzed.

Hello !
Just one question, because you didn't mentioned it : Do you brush or comb your hair ? 'cause, if I don't brush or comb my hair (during two or three weeks, I've tried yet :p), I get approximately the same effect.
But, it's strange that it's poofy with 34" !
Good bye
Vivien
