Franny and I tried a new style today, Dutch Combination Braids. We both wore these out to a Japanese restaurant tonight. I got blatantly stared at but I don't really care. I enjoyed trying a new style. I love long hair and wearing it in various ways adds to the fun in my opinion.
Great braiding again, Jason and Franny. I'm glad you don't mind being stared at while out and about. The average person needs his/her preconceived notions shaken once in a while. :-)

Stares of envy I would assume. Not only does that style look fantastic, but having a couple with the sample hairstyle has a wonderful impact.

Good for you and for Franny as well. It's really awesome that you try different styles and that people staring, is a non issue for you both. Most are jealous or follically challenged. Life is for living and exploring !

Those braids look great. They must take a lot of time to do.
I am just picturing what they would look like with hair two and a half times as long. I know what you are thinking, but alas, I don't have the patience or skill to even do a good single, simple braid on mine.

That new colour is a killer and the new braid style again brings out Franny's and your skills. It's awesome you wear it wherever you want to without caring for people's opinions! Hope one day I can try at least 10 percent of the styles you've already showed us.

Hi Jason, these braids are really something. I would have stared too, but it would have been from awe! Tell Franny hi and hope to see more of these styles which I will say are exotic but should be common-place.

Thanks everyone for your supportive and kind comments. It's only to be expected to get stares as this style is very uncommon to see on a woman let alone a man. I just think a quick stare should be enough and not a prolonged dinner-long one but oh well.....I'll still keep wearing these styles out.
