Hi, just found this site, and thought it was wow, but they were no young teens i could see on it, and i just started growing my hair (from very short hair)so why not post my progress.
I last had a haircut 52 days ago, to a number 2(very short)
The photo is me today.
I take my picture everyday, tottaly ripping off Noah K and Jonathan Keller, but it's a good way to chart my progress.

Congrats on the decision! Hopefully, your family supports it. So many young men have had trouble with that, and it can be a huge problem.
BTW, my young friend, your pic looks like a younger version of PHX606, a regular poster here! If you have a similar hair type, yoou could get a good idea what your hair will look like by checking his progress, as he is also growing it out from a very short cut to remove damaged hair. His looks better all the time!

It's great you're growing it at your age! The younger you ar ethe better it will look. Be careful with parental control and there are teenagers here though most are in their late teens. Your hair seems thick and I'm looking forward to your updates! =}

Welcome to the board and applause for your decision to grow your hair long. I too was about age 13 when I decided to grow my hair long. I'm 49 now and I've never regretted it.

Thirteen, huh? That's very cool. If you start early, you can get some very impressive length by the time you're in college, assuming they let you keep it (cross your fingers and toes).
Also, I somehow think long hair will suit your face, so go for it, man.

I'm glad you decided to post man, Thats awesome! No need to worry about your age man, You are most welcome! :-) You are a very lucky dude man. You are growing out your hair at 13! I wish i had the opportunity to grow it long at that age. I envy you! If i would've attempted to grow it long at that age, My parents would've kicked my butt. HAHAH. I was 13 when I first decided to grow my hair long too. Unfornately I did not succeed that time as I did not know how to take care of it and it looked awful. You are lucky that you have this forum at such a young age.
I'm just 10 years older than you are.
I was 20 when I decided I wanted my hair long again and it look great.
