I'm dying to have my hair to my shoulders, I posted yesterday, and I got by biotin today, I'm getting some good hair supplements and will lwt time go by. I have curly hair, at the front it gests below my eyebrows. I've set deadlines to have a control over growth, and stablished a NO HAIRCUTS AT ALL rule that I want to keep at leats till March. I would appreciate your advice, and is it ok if I take two sources of biotin, and what are the minimum requirements for fo- ti?
Aditionally I have a parents problem, I don't think I'd be forbiden from growing my hair out, however I told my mother today I wanted to grow my hair, and with half of the length I pretend, she got scared. I don't want to have problems at home, but at this time the only person that could stop me from growing to my shoulders is God. I don't know how I'm going to wait so long. Any advice?
PS How's the awckward stage for curly- wavy's?
Hmm what a coincidence.. I have curly hair too, my mother was against long hair for me, I take biotin and fo-ti, I also had the no haircut rule until march, AND Santiago is my last name. Anyways, you should take 2 500mg tablets of fo-ti a day, and at least 1800 mcg of biotin a day. I take 2400 mcg because my tablets only come in 800 mcg. For curly hair the awkward stage lasts quite a while, but hang in there. My hair's about 8.5 inches long now, but I think I'll need the full 2 years (by next march) to get my hair to look the way I want it to. That doesn't stop me from wearing my hair down though. If you're into hip hop or live around San Francisco or Berkeley you should really take advantage of your hair by buying beanies made for people who sport dreadlocks. They'll hold your hair in when long hair becomes annoying, and they're just good to wear. Until then, good luck..

How is it that you want it, and how long do you think it will take for me to get shoulder lenght? How did you deal with your parents? And what is your length goal?
I dont know how curly/wavy your hair is, but mine is only a little curly and the awkward stage is awful for me. My bangs are very staright, the side of my hair is straight but it curls out at the bottom and the back of my head is completely curly. Me and my friend started growing our hair around the same time (about six months ago) and his hair is extremely straight and about the same lenght as mine and it looks sooo much cooler. Us wavy haireds have it alot worse during the awkward stage but when it gets longer we have it the best. Straight haired and curly haired people have to go through soo much shit just to get there hair to have the body and looks of wavy hair. Dont get me wrong there are plenty of people with real staright hair or real curly hair that love it, but alot of people always wish they had a little curlier hair or a little straighter hair, us wavys never have to worry cuz we always have the perfect combination.
