The annual Bonnaroo Art and Music Festival in Manchester Tenn. continues as an eastern U.S. gathering of "flower children." (I find it amusing that the press still uses that term.) Review in today's New York Times--see link below
Bonnaroo review
Man, one of these years I'll make it to Bonnaroo. I go to the High Sierra Music Festival (www.highsierramusic.com) every year which, by the way, is coming up in a couple weeks...
F E S T I V A L ! ! ! ! !
Bonnaroo used to be much better then it is now. The last couple of years it has been way too commercialized. The farmer that originally owned the land sold it for I forget how many tens of millions of dollars and its been downhill since. Oh well, there's still a lot of good music festivals popping up in different places (Jam in the Dam, Langrado, etc.)
