Haven't posted pics in a while and felt like it since I have a lot lying around from the past few months. Anyway my hair is currently about 33 inches long and I'll probably grow it back to waist length before I cut it again. So yeah lots of pics, you've been warned.

Thanks, man. I always wonder how long it would grow, I cut it before soon after it reached waist length over a year ago. It was still growing at that point.
That's some very nice hair there. It seems even both around the front and back and you're lucky that it isn't curly :)
How long have you been growing it for, and when you say you'll cut it when it gets to waist length, what length will you cut it to?
Thanks! Yeah I'm glad it's not curly, that would be hard to deal with. It can be wavy sometimes though.
I've had long hair for about 10 years or so. My hair use to be waist length but I cut it to around shoulder length over a year ago and now I'm growing it out again. I'll probably cut it to around mid-back when it reaches waist again. I think I like that length best.
Superb hair! And that's fast growth for 1 year from shoulder length to what it is now! I think the idea of constant growth and cut to still long length is really cool because it's fun to always see how it grows and midback is one of the best hair lengths :D

This is certainly a good collection of pictures. Your hair is great and looks easy to make it to look good, i.e. - that you can brush it and keep out the tangles, but I guess the grass is always greener... Of course, I think it'd look good at waist length too if you go for that again. I like the varying color too. Glad you are back posting.

Thanks. Yeah I have to admit it is pretty easy to deal with and I have relatively few tangles, so I'm very thankful for that. It's good to be back.

Good to know, since I have trouble deciding what pictures to post. And yeah I am really lucky and I'm thankful for the kind of hair I have. I'm sure I will grow it to waist length again, and I kind of want to see how long it gets but I found it hard to deal with when it was that length before. Anyway, thanks again for the comments.

That is some awesome hair, RRS! I would agree that mid-back length suits you best, though it will be cool to watch you as you progress closer to waist length. =)

Thanks! Yeah it seems a good length for most people, me included, but it's always fun to see my hair get really long until it gets kind of hard to deal with then I cut it to mid-back length.

Wow now thats an outstanding update if I ever saw one! I do agree with you that straight hair is a good kind to have for growing hair very long in a shorter period of time than if it were very curly.My hair is just like yours except for the colour and right now it is waist length and I love it.My last trim was in Aug.'05 and I decided to just let it grow after that.Actually my current avatar was taken just after that trim. Regardless your hair is just supurb and at waist length it would just be wicked!!Thanks for posting those pics and good luck with contiued growth.Mark

Your hair is outstanding. Absoultely lovely. What I don't understand is why you want to cut it when it reaches your waist. Or are you just going to trim a little off when it reaches your waist?
