Hi!
please, please, PLEASEEEEEE dont tell me that you have wavy hair and that you brush it? That's terrible it messing up with the waves! I have curly hair and I brushed it for years and so I hated my hair. But since I was 11 that Is toped brushing it, I only do it in the bath. If you do that your hair will loose volume and the curls or in your case waves will be much more defined and beautiful! Good luck
You're absolutely right, Catarina!
I, too, have a combination of wavy, curly, AND straight hair, and it behooves me to concur with you that combing, preferably with a wide toothed comb while using a conditioner when the hair is still wet (Mane 'n Tail brand . . . ENDORSEMENT . . . ENDORSEMENT!) is best. Other 'an that, a good boar's bristle brush, when perfectly dry, is a good second choice with which to NOT tear and break your hair. Good luck! Keep it growin' and goin'! Start always at the ends and work your way up to the roots. That's the best way to brush/comb.
Yours in longhaired camaraderie,
Quenyan (+:-)}
Hello,
i have wavy hair , and if i don't brush it it look like dread locks and look really messy , brushing it give me shine and make the waves more definited.

I'd say stay away from brushes period.
Hello there Marty!!
I am a wavy myself, and I used a brush similar to that one for about 2 years. I've recently changed in for a wide toothed comb, and my hair is much softer now, and the frizzies reduced too. I even think some damage I could have is growing nicely now, and I know my hair shape is improoving =)
I have a friend who has waist lenght stick straight hair who uses a brush exactly like that, and it was a very expensive one, bought in a hairdresser. It works really good on her hair, which is really fragile and thin.
In the end, everything depends on your hair type... But now that I finally traded for the comb, I will never ever adice to use a brush to a wavy person... Combs are the way to go =D
