It's only been about 2 weeks since I hit the 3 month mark, and I can already see a difference. It styles easier too now.
Please, can I have no lectures about dying it black. It was a personal choice, and I stand by it, and as James Raymond says, as long as I like it, that's all that matters.
I feel black suits me a lot better than the manky brown did.
I'll post another update at the start of July.

I won't lecture you..but would just like to inform you that if you prefer to have black hair at least wait until you get some real length, like your goal length before dying it. Since your hair is short your roots will be seen in 2 weeks easy...and you'll dye it again. But I'm done with that. Your hair looks good, I can't wait until its long dude.
Nice, i really quite like it now, that's actually a good length 9though longer probably equals better).

It was rather short, lol.
I also think that dying (if it;s not damaging now) is not advisable with short hair. It brings to a closed cycle of dying so that you dont get two types of color in your hair unless you dont mind it or cut it ;)
Anyway, your has grown a lot for the last month!! It looks great.
I like the look and the color. It looked so natural I forgot that your natural color was different until you mentioned the dyeing. You have to do what feels right for you, I hope that the color doesn't give you problems later on.

I've also hit 3 months now since i chopped everything off, but i've also had a few small trims along the way so that's probably why you're a little ahead of me.

Your hair looks great and I really like the colour. I never would have guesses it was dyed until you mentioned it. Dying, as with treatments, drying, straightening, etc., should be OK in moderation. I live in an area where the afternoon sun/wind is stronger and hotter than a blow dryer....soooooo??

"Hot" places experience winter too. Down here in Florida during the winter, It can drop to the mid to low 40's!

The desert is a strange place.....sub freezing in the winter, way hot in the summer.....and in between the temperature can swing 50-70 degrees in a single 24-hour period. The photo was taken after a funeral in November.

Nah, that was after I had the black taken out last year, it left it with an auburn colour.

Chris its certainally grow some since the last time I saw your pictures it even covers the ears now yup way to go however I am not surprised you dye it I though you might dye it but just a reminder didnt you cut all your hair of to grow your hair long in its natural colour lol enough said though :-)
