So it seems that the craze right now is guys with eyeliner. But mostly emo/goth types with short hair. Capt. Jack Sparrow seems to be the exception. LOL.
So what do you think about longhaired guys with eyeliner?
Here's a few pics of me with it:
And here's one with me wearing glasses. Personally, I think it defeats the purpose if I wear glasses. *shrugs*
Whenever I think of guys and eyeliners all I can think of is Robert Smith of The Cure.
I've never tried it personally.
Hello!!
Well personaly, I really like to see guys with black eyeliner, and as you mentioned jack sparrow, I got to tell that Johnny Depp weres eyeliner in many other movies like finding neverland. I think its a nice thing for you to wear, since it flaters the eyes, no matter what collor they are, eyeliner always makes the eyes pop.
oooooohhh... i don't think anything i have to say would be accepted by the filters. let's just say all my comments would be positive. VERY positive.
and if i had boy parts it would be very obvious what i was thinking. ;)
I wear eyeliner and anything else I want to. I could care less about whether it's trendy or not; I just like how it looks and fits with my personality. I don't wear it often, but that's just a personal preference.
Although Jack Sparrow and a couple goths pull it off with beards, I usually think it looks better with a clean-shaven face, but that's just because I find the most beauty in the feminine.
But, yeah, it looks cool on you.
Peace
I think it looks kind of cool although I'd probably never do it myself. It's cool to me because it looks ancient Egyptian like a painting of a pharoah from the Valley of the Kings.
Ah. They used kohl, I believe, to line their eyes for aesthetic enhancement. Nowadays, I think Indians use kohl to line the eyes of their children so as to ward off evil.
Funny the way trends are recycled and repackaged, so the resurrectors believe themselves pioneers.
Peace
Jack Sparrow. He rules, of course.
I think you look great with eyeliner!
I would never try this myself however I think it looks great on some people.
It appears that there is a universal need for personal decoration and adornment. It seems reasonable that we all wish to differentiate ourseslves from the mass of humanity. It is also clear that all cultures wish to have a symbolic expression of gender which is independent of the specific biological differences between the genders. [You may note that I use the term gender, instead of the s word, which would likely result in censoring my communication] Yet, it is also important to observe that beards, moustaches, skirts, long hair, make up, curlers, etc. etc. etc. have no genetalia, but rather are symbols which have evolved in particular cultures as gender markers. In modern society, because we have developed capacities for clear communication, even if we do not use them, we do not need to adhere to strict gender markers. In a contemporary, mature culture, in which we will not violate any individual's personal space, then all forms of personal adornement become possible to any person without reference to gender. Therefor women can wear pants and men can wear skirts, and women can drive tractors and men can have long hair, use make up, curl their hair, and be good and caring parents, and use eye liner if they wish. This is indeed the beauty of modern, international, secular society. We need not be rule bound. Hopefully we are respect bound to treat others as we would like to be treated.

I don't mean to offend anyone, and I hate being the lone voice in dissent; but since you asked, here's my honest --- and blunt --- answer...
I've always HATED the look of eyeliner, --- regardless of whether the person wearing it is either male, or female. Period. (And that includes Capt. Jack Sparrow, who I think looks both ridiculous & totally sexless.)
But hey, don't worry about me or what I have to say on the topic, as I'm just an opinionated old fogey here! If you like the look, then by all means, go for it, --- or as my youngest brother once said to my mom, "Whatever blows your dress up, Ma!"

Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz in a short People Magazine.com interview

I wasn't aware that people can look like a sexual orientation.
