Just to clarify to other members who may consider me to be a newbie to the 'long-hair' scene. I did have longer hair than that I currently have. I am hoping to eventually grow my hair back to at least my previous length or longer.
I have enclosed the only photo I could find and while it doesn't show my hair at its longest. it gives you an idea. I know its not as long as a lot of you guys but honestly I am a long-hair at heart.

Hi Catarina. I cut my hair because I was entering a new phase of my life and I guess cutting my hair embodied this change. I was also fed up as being known as 'the guy with long hair'. I felt I stood out too much. Looking back, it was these very things that made me feel good about long-hair in the 1st place.
After I did cut it I was very upset, but I always knew I'd come back to long hair. Its become part of me. God sorry, that sounded very deep didn't it!

That is one thought that thankfully never crossed my mind in the over 20 years that I've had long hair! Actually I'd be honored to be thought of as "That guy with the really long hair!"as my primary physical feature. I love it that at my gym the buzzcut guys kind of stare at me like"what the hell is that' look!LOL. Its fun to be unique in that way.Mark
