My hair has been semi-long for about 2 years now.
Recently, it's reached a new longer length and it seems like it keeps falling out all the time - I can pull on the ends of it, and a hair or two will usually come out. After a shower if I pull on the ends of my hair (all of it), many seem to come out. In the morning, I can do the same, too. I find myself always pulling on it, and it's making me worried..@_@
Is this natural for you? Now that I'm off of school for the summer, I seem to notice it more than when I had a lot on my mind, etc.
Is this normal? I know I've never posted here before, but any help/reassurance would be great. Thank you so much!
Stress, perhaps?
Although it's normal that about 50 strands keep falling everyday.
It is normal to lose 100 hairs a day... you notice it more as a longhair because one hair has more volume, and when your hair was short you don't see much of it when each strand is only 1cm in length. Just check the drain after any of your female family member took a shower, it is usually clogged with hair.
Yeah that's normal. I used to get a little paranoid after a shower
seeing all the hair in the drain but you get over it. I would suggest you not pull on it as that will only bring more out than would normally be shed.
