Yes it seems that having long hair is part and parcel of being an artist in some way. However, I am not a headbanger or a metalhead. I did go through a phase for a couple of years but have always traditionally enjoyed electro and instrumental synthesizer music - things a little more sedate than screaming about death, lol!

Yeah I love the idea of being able to float and fly in mid air. This is one of my common artistic traits in a lot of images I create. Something that couldn't possibly be suspended mid air like that always will be. It's just the addition of the shadow that adds this effect. I used Paint Shop Pro for windows 3.1 to make this image. I don't have any fancy image editing programs.
Myello, RainMaker. Your hair's health is really good! It's shiny and appears to be very soft. How long have you been growing it out?
Started growing for definite, after a number of failed attempts on 5th Feb 2000. Sounds a long time ago but the length it is now is the length it's been probably since this time in 2003 now. It won't grow any more but luckily I'm happy with it this length and I don't think I'd really want it to be too much longer anyway.

Yeah another one of the many moods of my hair. This is how it looks most of the time but sometimes it is strighter, specially in the winter when it's not as hot and humid. The colour possibly looks lighter since this was taken without a flash. I think most pics I've taken in the past have been with the flash.

Thanks. I came up with the floating keyboard idea after I thought about an image I saw some years ago in a keyboard magazine - a guy sat cross legged with a keyboard across his lap, but he was sitting on the floor. I thought it would be cool to edit all the background out and then add the shadow. I don't have any fancy graphic editing software either - this was done with Paint Shop Pro for windows 3.1!
