Please give details of the situation:
Has the policy been always in place and you want to have it changed.
Is this a new or a policy that will be put in place?
Is it a dormant policy (A policy dating from years ago, but never has been enforced). that just recently is being enforced by a jerk on a power trip.
That way people who want to help will know better what to say and be more coherant in their demands.
Please post a more detailed view of your situation, as a worker, or a client of Publix.
Have a nice day,
Georges in Montreal.
I noticed that about Publix. The only one I noticed was in Stuart, FL a guy had his hair piled in a hair net. Maybe the big boss didn't see him yet, but I was glad to see a longhair at a Publix!
It's their company. As long as the rules of attire/appearance are given before the person is hired, to which they agreed, then I don't see a problem. When the company changes policies and then fires people who don't meet them...that's when I disagree.
