Wow, I didn't know your hair was actually black (or does the water distort the color or something?). But the bigger surprise was how much longer your hair's gotten - wow. That's just awesome, dude. You've got a great set of curls at the bottom, but they're not so curly as to significantly suck up length, like my evil ringlets, lol. You'll get great length in no time.
And if I was up for 28 hours, my smile would be a lot worse. :P Believe me.

Thanks Bro! LOL. My hair looks much darker when wet. People have asked me if I dye my hair before. I don't. My hair is naturally brown, Like yours. Evil ringlets!lol. and I thought I had it bad with these wretched curls......

These are some good pictures. I like the highlights of red as I had mentioned last time. You are attaining some good length now, and I am happy you have stuck it out. I think you have been well rewarded. I can't wait till I catch up with you in length, as if that's possible! The Florida humidity doesn't seem to have treated you too terribly bad. Your hair looks rather becoming in all the photos.
I have a question: What's the longest you've been without sleep?

Thanks for your wonderful comments, They are much appreciated. I can't wait until you post another update. I'm dying to see what your curls are up to. The longest I have been without sleep has been 4 days and a half almost 5. I can usually go 2 days without sleep and still manage to work and stuff. I usually have to take xanax and resotril to be able to catch some shut eye. I guess I must be insane!muuuuuaahhhahahhaahhahah....seriously though, I suffer from severe anxiety and insomnia. Sometimes i have panic attacks as well. usually at night.

I, too, had an "anxiety disorder" prognosis. This wuzzzzzzzz (snore!), ooops, this was years ago. I'd be riding the train into work, it would slow down to a halt, I'd have a seveeere panic attack. It took me the utmost to not "let on" to my fellow passengers. Yeesh. Not that I didn't eventually go for help.
What the Social Psychiatry Research Institute prescribed for me was this nifty lil' grey capsule, Abecarnil. Fixed me right up. But, when ya talk about Xanax (more addictive than Valium) or Restoril (something like Lunestra, that pharmaceutical whose ad on t.v. has that giant green glowing lunar moth flyin' around and blessing everyone w/ sleep), I just get worried about you starting on a "career" in drug dependence.
Me? Yeah. I went to an out-patient. It was for alcoholism. I now no longer drink. Aaaand, I personally couldn't stay up my(s)elf for more than two days. Uhm, uh, that is, (k)not w/o hallucinating vividly!
Oh, oh! Since I think ya missed it elsewhere, Chrish, go to the highlighted link below. You seem to like horror, too. It's the website of an old bandmate of mine. Now he's famous. Scary movies, commercials, a book, music videos, there's even a film short, "The Boy In the Box", on his site, speakin' of hallucinating. Oh, and oddly enough, George is Straight Edge. Always has been. Go figure.

i thought i was insane for awhile, too. about a year ago i was at the point of being lucky to sleep peacefully for more than an hour and never going out with freinds because crowds were freaking me out so much. i finally broke down and went to a doctor (one trained in homeopathy and western medicine). after many tests, guess what he found out? i was severely lacking in magnesium. so now i take a large dosage of magnesium every day. i haven't had a panic attack since. that may be something for you to look into.

I think it's really interesting how your hair seems to slant when wet but dries relatively straight across. Amazing difference.
As always the curls are looking great, the highlights are wonderful, and thickness is outstanding.

Your hair just keeps getting better and better with every update, your curls ROCK in these pictures! Your hair is thick and healthy, and your growth rate is taking off, I am really impressed by the length in your wet photo for only 19 months. You will be at waist length before you know it, and ONWARDS from there, wherever your long hair journey takes you. Hair like yours past your waist will be AWESOME!

Wow, Chris! You have the awesome combination of very thick and wavy hair. As your hair lengthens those waves will stretch out and make for great volume of hair to whatever length you choose to grow it. You should easily reach your length goals and have fab looking hair in doing so.

You sure are (like others often say) BLESSED with great curly hair that should look superb when you reach the 3rd year mark.
