We see so many incredible photos of amazing long hair on the internet. How do you feel when you actually see it in person? The following photos are probably the best I have ever seen in real life. I saw some awesome hair at other RenFaires but this woman's hair tops them all. It makes me wish I had the genes for such beauty....

I have seen a few amazing heads of hair in my lifetime. Here along coastal No. California, we have a climate that is pretty nearly "PERFECT" for longhairs: our cold ocean current coming down from Alaska keeps summers in San Francisco and other CA coastal towns feeling very "air conditioned", --- which helps make longhairs less likely to be tempted to cut to short hair due to summer heat! The longest longhairs I have seen in real life have all been in California (I'm originally from Illinois), --- a woman with amazing knee-length blonde hair about 5 years ago; several guys with butt-length hair seen over a period of several years; an Asian man with hair almost to knee-length whom I know through music and dance connections (he plays a trumpet in a Swing band); a Latina woman I spotted one time with hair just below her knees; more than one Asian woman with the same; and my first time I ever saw a guy with hair not only to his butt, but BELOW his butt, was way back in '79... I was so stunned at the sight that even though I was walking in the opposite direction, I made a complete U-turn and followed him down the sidewalk for awhile (too shy back then to say anything to him - lol)!!
Nowadays whenever I see an outstanding mane in real life, I make it my best attempt to speak up and pay the guy or girl a compliment. So-far, I've anly recieved positive reactions when i do this (even though they are total strangers to me at the time)!

That IS amazing.
Is it me or is the hair getting more blonde towards the bottom? I've heard that many who are blonde in their teens start getting darker hair in their 20s, so that might be the reason.

It's sun bleaching. It is almost impossible to avoid it if you have long hair. If your hair is very long, try this:
Stand in front of a mirror. Take the ends of your hair and hold them up right above your forehead. Chances are, you'll be amazed at the color difference between your youngest (at your scalp) and oldest (at the tips) hair!

Oh, I've done that and I have the reverse. Old hair looks young, young hair looks old!! Truely an "Old Fart"!!

Your gene is fine.... nothing you can do about it anyways and you look pretty good as it is. If you let your hair grow to the length of that woman you can also have hair that nice.
She seem to have a similar hairtexture as your actually, i think hair that long would suit your:)

Very amazing hair. . .makes me glad I work on the renaissance festival circuit. . .I work with people with the most amazing hair, and some of the patrons have locks to shame mine, lol.

When I go to London I see loads of woman with amazing hair Waist length or longer plus a few guys with waist length hair. The women in these pictures have great hair may it always stay long. Here is one such lady with georgeous hair
