I haven't done an update this month, i wanted to skip a month so that i and you could see a much better difference.
But seeing as i got my new guitar i thought i'd better share the picture with you :P
Me and my beautiful new guitar :P Oh yeah and my hair :P
Hmm it's wrong way=)
Very cool guitar I like the colour.
a.
I'm left handed :D
Yeah it's a beautiful guitar.
Solid mahogany body and a solid maple cap on top, carved around the edges, ebony fretboard which is so smooth.
by the way is it a real Les Paul? it doesnt say gibson on it... how much did it cost?
It is an agile les paul.
Absolutly fantastic quality and the next best thing to a real gibson. Some people say it's better sounding!
I bought it for £305 pounds (england)
Honestly I am not that fond of Gibsons anymore after all the stories I read about them. For what they cost I could build something just like it for half the cost. Yes I'd need tools but I'd recoup that in less than 2 guitars. Also I seen a lot of reviews saying that a lot of Gibsons were sub par, like I mean loose frets, bad neck, string off alignment. For a 2000 dollar guitar you'd think they do better...
It is always a thrill when one obtains a brand new instrument and the Guitar looks great even though I know nothing of Guitars.
And yes, one can see that your hair is now starting to take off nicely. Long hair and Guitars almost seem automatically made for each other, probably because for so many years associated by Rock Bands.
Few know that the great composer Franz Schubert himself played and indeed composed music in the attic of his house when young so as not to anger his father who did not approve.
Looking great DaPs!
I noticed your guitar is backwards but I also noticed that the chords are adjusted for a left handed player. Left handed?
Yeah it is a left handed les paul :P
Hey! Nice guitar! I've also thought about buying a guitar and learn to play, i like to sing but would love to learn playing guitar as well, i've played a little bit in school when i was younger but i've forgotten much, are you a good player?:D
Your hair's coming along great as well!
Simon
I've only been playing for a short while so not amazing. I am still learning and this nice guitar can help me on my way :P
ahhh, lefty guitarists. I thought I was the only one
Very cool guitar, and very nice hair as well. I'm glad that there are so many musicians here. I'm a pianist myself, we all oughtta get together and jam sometime!
Stormy
Here is a link to the pictures of all the guitars I have been working on....
Currently I am working on this one... but I don't think I will finish it because I am selling the parts so I can build a Marshall Plexi 50 clone. I need a good amp... 2 guitars and no amp means no sound.
Yes the paint changes color depending on viewing angle.
Guitar pictures and misc
You've done a lovely job on that Tai Fu.
Are you good at playing Tai Fu or do you just build them?
I can play a few things but my timing is really bad because I cant find any bands...
Beautiful guiter DaPs. I wish I knew how to play. I dabbled with the bango years ago, but didn't follow though with the lessons.
Your hair is coming along, you'll be a longhair before you know it.
keep on growin'
Bruce
Nice guitar DaPs, cool hair also!!
Hi DaPs,
That is a VERY cool guitar you have there, and the hair is coming along very well indeed. Keep growing it for sure.
All the best,
David
Hey, DaPs, that Les Paul is a beauty!. I just got a new stratocaster last month at the local guitar show. It's my first electric guitar. I started learning a year ago on a Fender acoustic and felt it was time to add an electric. I almost got a Les Paul at the show but opted for the stratocaster instead and now I'm envious of yours. Keep playing & growing!
Cool guitar you must be thrilled. Your hair is making good progress like Justin said longhair and guitars were made for one another.
Kevin
great to see another lefty guitarist!
Nice hair, and a very nice guitar. Put it to good use ;)
Cool guitar dude, looks natural with you :)
Good luck in learning and enjoying music, I always think it would be cool to do that, but I never put other things aside to actually do it. I think that is the mark of a true musician :)
Nice guitar dude! How long have you played?
Not very long. I am starting to get better now, really can't wait to start ripping out some solos :P
