My ears is still ringing so bear with me... damm that was awesome!!! I got some pictures and stuff and I never attended anything quite like it before! I was apprehensive about moshing at first then later on I started diving in and headbanging and stuff... Now I understand why there's the headbang blue because now my hair is rough and sweaty and knotty too. Lots of beautiful guys with really long hair...
And I found out Dragon Force was in Taiwan a month ago... why do I always find out about gigs after the fact?
This is just one of the pictures... I really like the hair on this guy. I got more if you want them...
That looks like a great show! What's that band playing, is it some Taiwanese metal band?
Its a bunch of Taiwanese metal band with names like Horsemen and Lightning (in chinese), Crusher and a few others... not much info in (English) internet but they sure are great, even if I don't pay attention to the lyrics (distortion is so high I can't even understand it even though I understand Chinese)
Many people there are somewhat Americanized though.
Looks excellent Tai Fu, metal shows are simply the best.
Lots of hair, loud guitars, yeahhh, great isn't it??
WHATT??? I CANT HEAR YOU!!!
LOL!!
Hey next time I'm in Taiwan, we should try and catch a show.
At the moment I am working mostly in the sports industry and visit China/Taiwan.
Last visit was actually just to Taipei for a week, I went on my own which was pretty boring in the evenings.
Are you actually in Taipei, Tainan???
I am in Taipei... next show that I know of is on 8/9 so if you are gonna be there call me up. My number is 0961074416 (if calling from Taiwan...) if you for some reason wants to call from the US or elsewhere the country code is 886 and omit the first zero.
When I revisited the UK in 1997 and 1999 I found there were much fewer long hairs there than in the 1970s and my long haired friend said it was because fewer bands there had long hair.
Well, the UK is in need of a band like Dragon Force to encourage more longhairs there.
Checking out their website, I see Li will be holding a guitar clinic at the Malaysian Chinese Association building in Kuala Lumpur on 15 July.
Maybe you should take a plane down, Tai Fu. :-)
Take the KLIA express from the airport to the KL Sentral terminus, then transfer to the Putra Light Rail Transit and get off at Ampang Park and the MCA building is a short walk away.
