Hi all.
When I try to style my hair backwards with Gel it just stands up(spiky) and refuse to be sticked-will moose achive better results?
depends what kind of hair you have , try it and find out , i hope i helped
Try soaking your hair with water then applying lot's of gel and slicking it back with a comb, that worked for me when i was having the same trouble. Mousse isn't good for slicking if u have wavy/curly hair it just gives more volume thus defeating the purpose. Hope this helps.

Hi Adi,
With regards to the previous thread, I've got a question for you:
Is your hair dry and frizzy or oily?
If it is the former, shampoo less frequently (at least 2 days between shampoos). After shampooing, apply oils (coconut, jojoba or rosemary) to your scalp, and wash/shampoo it out after leaving it in for 1 to 2 hours. Alternatively, leave-in conditioners with silicones could help a great deal too, they tame the frizzes.
But if your hair is naturally oily, my advice is to shampoo more regularly (everyday) and apply silicone-loaded leave-in conditioners over your scalp liberally. After 2 weeks, you'll observe a significant stripping of your scalp oil. Once that happens, shampoo every other day and reduce the leave-in amount, as you wouldn't want to completely strip all the natural oils away from your hair :0
In any case, the awkward phase does not have any specific length attached to it. As long as you're feeling "awkward" with your hair, be it 1 or 2 cm, you're IN IT. The ultimate advice is to stick to your guns and grow it out, eventually, as your hair gets longer, it would weigh itself down, moderating the curls.
Happy growing!
