Hey, I still exist. I just don't post much anymore because getting regular net access at home isn't a top priority. It's actually been somewhat refreshing to take a break from the internet. I know I'll get back online sometime though.
Webmail is OK in the office though, so if anybody wants to reach me I'm just a click away.
Great shot, Steve of North Virginia, great shot!
Where in the world is it taken? You look as though you're really, really high up, way above sea level. The Blue Ridge Mountains per chance?
Yours in longhaired camaraderie,
Quenyan (+:-)}
Probably not, as he just moved to the West coast
Where is that, Steve?
I would hazard a guess that, that is east of the bay area. I just got back from visiting a freind who lives in Livermore and the scenery over Steve's left shoulder looks like what a lot of that area looks like. Spectacular scenery.
To Steve: Fantastic mane, an inspiration!
Take care,
Bruce
Agree. Those are the east bay hills. I'll guess the photo was taken at Mission Peak in Fremont.
Ed
That was my guess, too.
Fremont may be an obscure place for most of you, but it has some importance for us because it is where the web server for MLHH is.
Bill
Yep. The top of Mission Peak. I took this pic when Steve and I went up there last month. Great view from up there. It's much better when there's less smog... :)
--Rick, in San Jose
What a breathtaking view, not to mention how great your long hair looks. One fantastic photo!
great mane you've got there, how long has it taken you to grow your hair that long
Hi Steve,
The scenery is breathtaking in your new home state of California, and as always, your hair is awesome. Hopefully, you are well settled in to your new home now, and have the opportunity to meet some of your fellow MLHH members who live out your way.
Hopefully, I can add you to the list of "people to meet" when I am out your way in 2009 on my nationwide road trip. I already have Ken, Absalom, Bill, Rick, and possibly one or two others from your state on my list.
All the best,
David
Hey Steve,
Looks like you have settled in enough to do some sight seeing. That is quite an awesome view there. I hope things are going smoothly for you. You're looking great, the California lifestyle must agree with you!
I know I have been bad at writing, I will get an email to you soon.
Steve, good to hear from you. great photo too by the way.
You've got the right priorities, Steve. You are out adventuring meanwhile I'm playing online from one of the houses seen in that photo. I've watched the sun rise over Mission Peak twice this week from staying up all night while at Bill's father's house but never have been to Mission Peak. I need to get offline and do that. Thanks for the inspiration!
Elizabeth
Great pic there, Steve, --- and already you look just like any other Californian at-home in the Golden State.... whatever a "Californian" is supposed to look like (lol)!!
One of these days, I know we'll meet... I'm so sorry I was unable to come over to Bill's that night he called & mentioned that you were there for dinner. If only work didn't get in the way of my social life; but, I know that's the way the vast majority of the planet feels as well!
Take care, --- and I agree with you: it's actually extremely refreshing to take a long break from being on the computer too much!
- Ken
Good to hear from you Steve, looking great, take care.
Dave
Great long hair. Congrats.
Anyway, enjoy your break from the Internet. I spend too much time on the Internet and really need to take a break and see the world in realspace, including some longhairs in flesh and blood.
All the best.
Charles
