As you can see....ive grown a lot more hair sicne the last update becuase i havent has it trimmed for 6 months. On the down side its in poor shape with teriible mangled broken ends of which some are turning t splits.
im not sure if it would be best to get a big trim now or gamble that the damage wont travel down the whole hairs length for a while so i can have a nice length for my hair to be trimmed to later on.

Haha yeah Tom Like to seen a picture of you wearing a ponytail I can imagine it will look awesome on you But the suggestion is wear a braid seeing that Jason is wearing his in a braid and all different ones from time to time but i dont think many girl on the board can self braid there own hair !!

WHOA, what a change from your avatar, and a FABULOUS one! I had NO idea your hair had grown so much. Your hair is AWESOME, you are blessed with incredibly thick hair with lots of shine, and it appears really healthy to me, no problems as far as I can see. Be sure to keep it growing, and it is DEFINITELY time for a new avatar!!!

I can indeed see that you've grown a lot of hair. I hope all is well on Drury Lane, and it's good to see you make an update.
If you have really crappy ends and tangling problems, a simple trim of 1 cm. will do the trick. Go to someone good and you'll be OK. You will be surprised that a drastic trim is not at all necessary to fix this problem.

Hey Muffinman, your mane has grown by leaps & bounds, I'd say! As far as split ends go, though...
If they are truly bad, then it's better to trim now and get it over with, than to wait and let it get worse. Just make sure you go to a really reputable hair stylist and/or salon, --- preferably to someone with a longhair following. DON'T GO TO THE CHEAP CHAIN-STORE TYPE HAIRCUTTING PLACES (like "Supercuts"), --- they are cheap for a reason! (And that reason will prove a big disappointment to a longhair.) Go to the very best salon that $$$ can buy, and then ask for as little length as possible to be trimmed off.
Also, as a preventative measure next time... Try applying a little bit of beneficial oil into your hair ends as a regular practice. Just a small amount of Kukui nut oil, Jojoba, Almond oil, or evn Olive oil massaged into the lower portion of your mane at the ends will help cut down on split ends in teh future.

Overall, your hair looks very good. As far as worrying about the splits... if you think that it's wise to get a trim now, then do so. You have enough length now that it probably wouldn't take away too much, but it's your call. Otherwise, the hair's coming along nicely! =)

I think this pic would look best as a new avatar. At any rate, the others are quite right - you definitely need an updated one.

As for split ends, if I were you I would have them tended to now in the "Target and Remove" mannor just to hold things at bay.
