Hey all!
First of all, great updates from lots of you guys! I haven´t had time to answer all of you, however, I do try to at least look at all the updates.
Well, I´ts time for my 8 month update. I can´t believe I´ve grown my hair for so long! It doesn´t feel like more than 3-4 months. I just started parting my hair on the middle instead of the side part just a few days ago. It feel like it´s finally long enough to look good with a middle parting. Enough talking, on to the pictures!
First of all, this is how short my hair was when I started out:

The growth is indded VERY noticeable, --- you are starting to look like a longhair now (lol)!! (And I can't think of a nicer compliment to say to someone who's going through the infamous, "awkward stages" than THAT!)

The center part suits you I think by now at this length. Your hair is coming along quickly, and I really think you have the type hair that will look great as it grows longer and longer. In another year, you will be amazing us all with your updates!
I hope the Swedish summer weather is pleasant. What kinds of temperatures do you guys consider to be "hot" for the summer?

The weather is great here. Since sweden is a very long country, we have different temperatures in the northern and southern parts. Here were I live, a hot summer is around 20-30 degrees C. And in the winter we have between -10 and -20 degrees C cold.
How is the weather in your country?
In the Southeastern US, in southern Georgia, the summer which lasts from March to October varies, but the hottest is +100F or 37-39 C. Winter brings maybe two weeks of really cold where temperatures get below 32 F or 0 C for an extended amount of time usually in January or February. We get snow once every 30 or 40 years. The last snow that stuck to the ground was in 1973.
hehe:d sometimes the winters up here in the north of sweden it can get as cold as -40-50 degrees C, no kiddin!

Nice update, Hair looks good. You mentioned a while back of maybe trimming the back a little. Looking at the pics if I were in your shoes I might wait 2 or 3 more months and then only get 2 cm trimmed every 3 months so it's hardly noticeable. Slowly the front and sides will catch up.
Just a thought anyway.

Thanks mate! Yeah that sounds like a good idea. At the moment, my back hair is way too long I think. :)
Yeah seeing your pics reminded me of when I grew mine out and I had the same issue. Getting small trims in back made the front seem like it grew really fast. I know it didn't but psychologically it made me feel better.

Finntroll is a great band. I saw them live at Tuska. Though they played immediately after blind guardian so I got a bad spot. You should definately check them out. :)
What amazing progress for such a short period of time. And are you EVER lucky to have hair such as yours. Perfect type to work with. Best of luck in continued progress.
your hair is looking great! it looks like it's super soft. girls must be trying to run their fingers through it all the time. :)

It's all looking great, Erik dude! Your hair really grows fast, for 8 months that's quite some progress. You appear to have a bit wavy hair but you never know what will happen when it gets longer, it might turn out straight.

Thanks man! My fauvorite bands are Children of Bodom, Arch Enemy, Wintersun, Blind Guardian, Ensiferum, Norther and many more. I also play guitar myself and create my own metal (if you´re interested, visit www.myspace.com/erikwallenmetal). So you listen to metal too?
I guess that hairstyle is some sort off buzzcut spike-thing. Don´t know really. :)
