I'm finally back after having no internet connection for nearly a month and a half (it was cut a few days after my 9 month update). Well, here we go with my update pics:
I'm pretty pleased on how far I've come in almost a year, though my goal is still a long ways away. However, I found recently that I could get all my hair in a ponytail (I discovered it at camp, and wore it there a lot), so here's some pics of that I took a few days ago. A little frizzy, but you get the point.
i love this style hairdo! not many people really look good in it, but it suits your face amazingly well! :)

Why thank you! Not many people tell me that. Most just say "Get a haircut, you hippie!" Or, "Your hair doesn't suit your face". It's nice to find someone who thinks otherwise.
Now, if my hair would just stop flipping and frizzing all over the place, I would be really happy with it. ;P

Hey, thanks! Alot of people comment when I wore the ponytail that I looked like a samurai. The ironical thing is one day, I did wear my Samurai Jack shirt, and I almost looked like Jack. :P

Thanks! People ask me all the time if that's my natural hair color (it is). While you can't really tell from those pics, it's a few shades from black in most lightings (direct it's a bit lighter) Thanks, and keep it growing!
Great to see that you're still alive and kickin, Brandon. Nice ponytail and your hair seems to grow at such an extreme rate! Won't be long before you hit the one year mark, which is certainly quite an accomplishment. Keep it growing! =)

Yeah, I'm alive and well(and stressed alot less, thanks to school being out, and me graduated and such. I wouldn't say that my hair grows at an "EXTREME" rate (I wish it did. It would probably be floor length if it did :) ), but I've been told, even when I had short hair, that my hair grew really fast. I would have to get haircuts every 2 weeks and such. I'm finally glad that my parents are cool with it, and I can finally grow my hair in peace. Thanks for the compliments!

Congratulations on a great update, you have much to be proud of in how far your hair has grown. Your hair looks wonderful now, you are blessed with thick, wavy hair in great condition that grows quickly, and can only get better in the months and years ahead.

Your hair is looking really good everything seems to be going for you. It's thick enough, healthy, little bit of curl but not too much, and a good hairline.

It wasn't wasy surviving without internet connection. I would occasionally go to a coffee shop to occasionally check my e-mail and such. And since there was a 15 minute time limit, I didn't get a chance to give anyone an update on my situation. However, it's back on, for now. At least I'll have a stable internet connection once I move into my dorm room next month.
Anyway, thanks for the compliments. Expecially about hairline. You people freak me out with your talk of 'receding hairline', and 'MPB', that I occasionally get paranoid to the point that I would go bald if I didn't stop worrying :P Thanks again!

That's a lot of hair you've grown for just eleven months! It sure is nice to be able to tie it back as hot as it is sometimes.

Yeah, it's really great to be able to tie all that hair back. It was a real life saver at camp. I nearly died the one day I didn't tie it back. Hair is really, really hot!

Thanks! Well, they would rather me have short hair, but as of late, they have seemed to stop with the threats and such. They occasionally slip in a "you would look much better with a haircut", but they've chilled with the threats. Thanks again!

11 months and that alwready blows me away! That's some outstanding progress! Your hair is thick and in perfect condition, it will turn out very well as it gets even longer (and with your growth rate it won't be long ;)
Why thanks! It's really funny when you think that your hair is growing at snail-speed, but you get all sorts of compliments for fast hair growth. I really can't notice a difference until I look at past update shots.
I also didn't get to comment on your last update, but I saw the pictures. Amazing progress, man! I really wish my hair was that straight and not as...poofy. Well, maybe it will become tame once it gets longer. Anyway, congrats as well! ;)
