  Yes, my friends, the frontman from the Scottish group, IDLEWILD, Roddy Woomble, has not only given up his Mod mop, he's grown his hair long AND let his beard come in, too!

    thanks for the pointer.
    I'm usually labelled as Tom Hanks from Castaway, which is alright if tiresome. Makes a change to Jesus (though wasn't he an arab, or black?)
    Anyway, I've noticed a few beards appearing in the media (not that I take much notice) which brings some kind of reassurance.
    I have a similar beard pattern to Roddy (but shabbier, like Donald Sutherland in Kelly's Heroes) so it's nice to see someone else feeling comfortable with it.
