Check this out, guys...
It's a commercial I saw last night that was pretty good. Perhaps longhair is going mainstream? It's definitely popular with guys again.
Enjoy and keep it growin', y'all!

Herbal Essences Commercial
Haha, that's hilarious! Thanks for that.
Per your comment about the ad showing that longhair is becoming mainstream - well, yes and no. The mere inclusion of longhairs in the ad leans into the "yes" area, but look at who the longhairs were - biker dudes. Bikers are stereotyped into having long hair anyway, so perhaps the biker image, not longhair in general, is what's slipped into the mainstream.
Nevertheless, long hair is long hair, and awareness is awareness. At the very least, the sales of Herbal Essences to bikers might go up. :P
Peace
The longer haired man has always been a sex symbol with the ladies.
Always will be :P
Lol yeh, that's a great one. I swear i've seen that commercial somewhere about a year ago now. Who knows if that may have helped motivate me growing my hair :P
Hehe...That commercial made me laugh a bit. The ending with the bikers was pretty funny. But I still don't like Herbal Essence (or I didn't a while back). It turned my hair orange! But pretty good commercial, never the less.
That was pretty funny ... I think Fallen Angels is right though.. bikers with long hair seem to be pretty normal.
-But funny none the less..

Hey !! I think I saw that guy at Sturgis last year. Kewl vid bro thanks.
HA!
LOL. That is a righteous commerical. Very hilarious.
OH, NO, LOL! Too funny, Brett! Clever Madison Avenue (where I, too, worked twenty years ago; the competition's a killer, dude!) advertising technique is to reverse the role of the grungey, scary, macho biker type, have a millionaire-good-looks girl model convert him to good grooming practices and, presto, change-o! People go for the product. I would, however, warn people off of the brand covered as it contains formaldehyde. Hello? That's also known as embalming fluid, isn't it?
It was worth a look. Thank you for posting it.
Yours for shampoos without formaldehyde,
Quenyan (+:-)}
That's funny! I love how the guy is flinging around his long locks around. Some of the print ads for Garnier products, have featured guys with somewhat long hair (shoulder lenght). It's a start, eventually the advertisors are going to realize they have a nich market that has been largely overlooked.

Just a while ago during the "Pirate Master" show on CBS, I saw a commercial for Toyota trucks with a guy with longer, a little past shoulder-length, hair who was very excited about purchasing a truck, I suppose, pushing the car salesman around a dealership in a chair. And, the current "captain" on the pirate challenge reality show has long blond dreadlocks nearly to the waist.
