A week back on a long distance bus journey I saw this guy with mid-back length hair, coloured and crimped, which was tied in a ponytail, but not in the usual way. Instead of having it tied at the back of his head or in the nape of his neck, the tie was just below shoulder level.
I have never seen a guy with such a ponytail before. Do any of you wear your hair like this? How would you say it compares with the conventional ponytail?

I have no idea tbh, since i've never seen it. But I suppose it's not an easy tail to wear unless you have a good length on your hair. Especially the bangs. Many of us have trouble keeping a stable normal ponytail as such :P

I think I may have seen that style before. I could probably tie my hair like that, but probably not that low. Sometimes at home I will loosen my tail like that, but not very often.
Sometimes, I see persons with long long hair, with this type of ponytail (My girlfriend for example, or his brother, both with mid-back hair)
