Back when my hair was 1/2 - 1 inch long I heard that peroxide lightened your hair. I didn't believe it so I put a bunch in my hair multiple times and it worked....now, about 13 or 15 months later my ends are extremely dry and I have alot of damaged and split ends. I don't really want to go for a trim, but when I see a split end or a damaged end I cut it off.
I'm wondering if there is some sort of deep conditioner I can use to make my ends less dry.
Pantene Repair & Protect.
1. - Shampoo
2. - Conditioner
3. - Deep Conditioner
Use those three and should help the issue asap.
Thanks! I was afraid I wasn't going to get any help.
You can try the conditioners and such, but there is really no way to "fix" processed hair. And, yes, some will argue that it is possible, but it might just be that a slight trim of a 1/2 inch would leave your hair so much better off in the long run. The longer it gets, the more prone to tangles your hair will be (at least in my experience). Crappy ends promote tangles and who wants that? A trim is not a traumatic thing. You go in, tell 'em what you want, tell 'em again when you sit down and make sure they do it, somebody competent that is.
You might need a trim, just to remove the damaged hair. If you decide to chemically process your hair in the future, use a deep conditioing product as needed, to minimize damage and keep hair healthy. There are various hot oil treatments and deep conditioning hair butters out there, that you can use to repair damaged hair. these help by restoring moisture, shine and a smooth texture. But even these will not help if the hair has severe damage, there is no miracle product that will fix the hair once the damage is done. That's when you need to trim the damaged part. Infusium 23 can be applied to dry ends, or even a small amount of olive or almond oil.

you should never use any chemical in your hair that has not been tested in a lab for a certain use.
